Can I just say that this has got to be the most polarizing elections ever; if you're on social media everyday, you know what I mean!
Speaking of 'the best', here are the best anti-acne skin care lines that I turn to whenever a breakout happens. Thank you, Brigitte, for this question!
Hello Martha!
I'm currently suffering from acne right now, and I'd like to know which products you use to prevent breakouts from happening. Hope to hear from you soon and God bless!
Brigitte
Hello Brigitte!
Sorry to hear about your breakout! One thing I learned about acne is it will always come whenever it wants to and sadly, we can't stop that, but we can at least alleviate it and lessen its occurrence. Sharing with you some of the amazing anti-acne skin care lines I swear by.
Starting of with Mario Badescu, which tops my list; to date, it's still the most effective on me and this is my go-to range if my breakout is pretty bad.
Safeguard Dermasense for Acne- Prone skin is affordable, but works really well! I love that it has products for the body, which is perfect for those who experience bacne or body acne.
Yves Rocher Pure System, methinks, is an underrated anti-acne range, but it deserves a lot of attention! I've used the entire line and it excels at drying out acne fast!
For moderate breakouts, try Belo AcnePro; I find that it works on mild breakouts; just be sure that you're not allergic to any bee- related byproducts.
That's all! Got yours? Share with us below!

I love the Belo's Acne Pro Toner it doesn't dry out my unlike the other drugstore toners that I've tried the Burt's Bees Anti Blemish line and it also works on me.
ReplyDeleteLuckily, I have not experienced major acne in the face - just a small pimple or two. I used pimple drying solutions, but none of them really worked (maybe because i picked on 'em hehe). And I agree, the Safeguard line is indeed affordable and effective, especially for body acne. My cousin used it to address his bacne and eventually unti-unti nang nawawala. :)
ReplyDeleteI switch from another facial wash before which cause me to have breakouts and luckily my holy grail face wash stopped it for having more breakouts. :) I am using the Clean and Clear Deep Action Cleanser and I super duper loved it. <3 I do use sometimes the 2 minute whitening miracle from iwhite which makes my skin bright and soft. :)
ReplyDeleteI ask my boyfriend to use safeguard Derma Sense Acne-Prone skin since I heard it straight from you that it's really effective for treating acne. He said that you were right because his pimples dries easily and I am looking forward to the days that he will be acne free.
ReplyDeleteI love Safeguards Derma Sense line. Been using it, and the oiliness in my face has decreased. Using it on my legs too, because sometimes, out of the blue, pimple like bumps suddenly grow.
ReplyDeleteLuckily, I didnt experienced to use any of the abovementioned products. I used to have only one pimple before I would have my monthly period. Hinahayaan ko lang, nawawala din naman. My brothers were acne pro. I will advise them to used, maybe the Safeguard Derma Sense because of the affordability.
ReplyDeleteHi Thank you for these tips. Actually I am started to suffering acne in my nose and chin and this is totally giving me stress. I hate photo editing but I starting to use photoshop just to get rid of my visible acne and to perfect my summer selfie. I ahve notice my pores is a lot more visible and open now...this site of yours is helpful with a lot of beauty tips. I also stumbled upon to you Flawless Acne Control adavnced facial posted on May 2014 and it really helps to decide where to go for a treatment now.

ReplyDeleteAnd for me it's Effective (or maybe I just think it's effective because Ms. Martha also use it hehehe) but seriously I enjoy using it... And I also remember what Ms.Martha told us that if you have a pimple acne use product that has salicylic acid...

ReplyDeleteThe Belo pimple fighting gel is so effective on my skin (:, thanks
ReplyDeleteI'm such a fan of Human Nature in terms of skin care. I mix the acne defense wash with the balancing facial wash and the balancing toner. It's been more than six months since using these two combos and I only get pimples when few days before my period. I'm currently using the aloe gel moisturizer from Nature Republic and has been very efficient.
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing these Martha, my sister is suffering from skin breakout, she got acne on some part of her face, she tried going to the drama but it doesn't suit her. I would try to recommend these products to her.. Let see how it goes!!
ReplyDeleteI used Safeguard and Celeteque (Green variant for Acne Prone Skin) I am thankful that I do not suffer heavy break out, magkakaron lang ako ng pimples (before or after ng period) yun nga lang paisa-isa pero masakit, I always tend to have safeguard (white or the beige one) sa bathroom (lalo na nung nasa highschool pa ko) it was the most affordable one i can recommend pero very effective.
ReplyDeleteSo lucky i never had a breakout like this. never pa nagkapimples before (sana d magkaroon ever) 🙏 for me, i dont use anything in my face, kahit soap? Nope. Im so lazy, na water lang talaga gamit ko for my face. But this time i use facial wash, most of the times na! 😂
ReplyDeleteThe celeteque spot corrector fades my acne but leaving you a pimple mark
ReplyDeleteWell I think pimple marks are really difficult to erase. I know some people who have aggravated pimple marks ease the appearance through fractionation (not sure if thats the right term) from beauty clinics
DeleteI rarely had pimples in high school and even college. But now I am well a little older (cant say my age haha!) I get them quite frequently 😩😩😩
ReplyDeleteI got my eye on Belo acne products
Let me know what you think of this post! :)
