Himalaya Herbals is one of
India’s biggest and proud consumer beauty brands; they’ve landed about two or
three years ago in the Philippines; I have been meaning to review this
particular range, but the following photos have been misplaced in my hard drive
and I’ve unearthed them yesterday after a technical clean-up! Yay! Himalaya
Herbals Purifying Neem skin care range is for treating mild blemishes and for
keeping your skin clean and blemish- free too!
HIMALAYA HERBALS PURIFYING NEEM SKIN CARE IN DETAIL
Founded in 1930, Himalaya Herbals is considered as one of the pioneers of herbal beauty products; their products are apparently SLS, SLES, and Paraben- free, and not tested on animals. Purifying Neem is a skin care range targeted to oily, blemish- prone skin and features Neem and Turmeric to help fight acne- causing bacteria and keep skin clear.
Neem is a fairly new ingredient to us so for starters, Neem is a tree that is native to India and parts of Burma; it is a medicinal plant and is used for over a thousand years by Indian women to treat and beautify their skin as it is found to be anti-microbial and anti- inflammatory.
The foaming facial wash is ideal for those who use heavy
makeup because it’s sudsier than the regular facial wash, making it more
effective in dissolving hard- wearing makeup formulas. Another plus is you
don’t have to spend time lathering it, thus it saves you a bit of time. However, it is a bit drying so moisturize right away after usage.
The foaming facial wash is a light, concentrated gel that lathers gently and doesn't leave the face dry; best to use if you have normal or slightly dry skin and if you only wear light makeup on a regular basis.
All products have a strong spiced fragrance; it might not be for everyone though!

I've used everything for a month until the last drop; my favorite facial foam would be the foaming cleanser; despite its slight drying effect, I like how easy it is to use.
If you want really clean skin, this is one range to consider because it gives you just that, but without the super drying, taut feeling; it does help me maintain a clear skin, but I still get a zit or two every now and then in my usage; it can suppress a mild breakout, but not the major ones. Oh, I noticed that it helps control oil too.
Overall, it's a mild, affordable skin care range that's definitely good for oily skin and those who experience mild breakouts; if you're also keen on using all- natural and cruelty- free products, but without spending a ton, check out this brand.

DeleteI have been seeing this brand in Watsons and I kinda wanna give it a try pero what's stopping me is I usually still have a stock of the products I use. I'd love to try out the facial foam to help remove the stubborn makeup that last too long on my face. Haha! Thanks for the review, Martha! :)

DeleteParang wala akong nakikitang ganto dito sa mall samin, kasi madalas tambay ako sa mga skincare products... Naghahanap ng pwedeng bilin. Pero parang familiar sya. Idk san ko nakita yang himalaya herbals.. Very affordable sya ha. I might as well try this!
