One day, I woke up with a new crease on the side of right eye and that prompted me to finally begin taking anti-aging skin care more seriously. While we can't stop aging, we can do so gracefully with the help of great skin care and great habits. Also, attending skin care workshops that focus on aging and anti-aging products like L'Oreal Anti-Aging Workshop arranged by L'Oreal Paris Philippines and BDJ will help.

After some makeovers and a hefty lunch, L'Oreal Paris Philippines proceeded to discussing the importance of starting with anti-aging care a bit before you need it; prevention is better than cure, as they say, and it's actually the secret to anti-aging!

But when do you really start using what? According to Dr. Sylvia Cancio, a dermatologist who graced the event and discussed some useful information on anti-aging, the best time to start using eye cream is in your 30s and serums, in your 40s; creams can be used as early as your 20s because it's a general skin care product. Of course usage depends on factors like age, genetics, and skin condition, but generally, these are the best ages to start using these key anti- aging products and doing so will give your skin more time to strengthen itself before those wrinkles come.

Of course we were then introduced to L'Oreal's latest anti-aging range, Revitalift Laser X3; this luxurious- looking range features 3% patented Pro-Xylane that helps improve skin's density, firmness, elasticity, and helps improve lines.

Oh, did you know that Pro-Xylane was discovered by Lancome in 2006? According to research, it is a sugar hybrid of cellulose found in beech trees; on the skin, it has been found to help retain water and prevent water loss by encouraging the production of Glycoaminoglycans. L'Oreal Revitalift Laser X3 is a range that carries this wonder ingredient; and why is the range called X3? Because according to L'Oreal it has 3 main benefits: 1. Evens skin tone. 2. Corrects lines. 3. Firms and smooths the skin.

After the workshop, we had our skin analyzed and recommended L'Oreal Revitalift X3 products determined through a skin analysis.

The analyzer analyzed the following conditions of my skin: 1. Skin Type 2. Texture 3. Redness
4. Dark Spots 5. Wrinkles 6. Hydration 7. Acne. This photo shows my redness level and according to the analyzer, mine's pretty good. Whew!

While this photo captured the hydration level of my skin and according to the analyzer, it's pretty good as well!

According to my skin analysis, I was advised to use L'Oreal Revitalift Laser X3 Eye Cream because all my facial lines are concentrated there and L'Oreal Revitalift Laser X3 Day Cream to refine my skin's texture further.

L'Oreal's Skin Analysis workshop is a nice way to keep your skin care regimen and skin in check; I hope this will be offered to the public permanently, if doable! :D
