THE VERDICT:
Girls, from Beauty Bloggers to plain makeup lovers, have been raving about this concealer from L.A. Girl lately; L.A. Girl's one of the lesser known drugstore makeup products locally, but I believe that this concealer will get people to learn more about this brand. So the hype is true, this concealer is arguably THE BEST there is in the drugstore!
L.A. GIRL PRO CONCEAL HD IN PURE BEIGE IN DETAIL
Provides crease- resistant, long- wearing, opaque coverage; covers dark circles, brightens under eyes, and corrects imperfections. It comes in 24 shades.
Ingredients
The time I chanced upon this product, Pure Beige was the only available shade. It looked a lil' dark in the tube, but I got it anyway; turned out to be just fine - it's a medium beige shade with yellow and peach undertones. Product has a sheer consistency, is unscented, and yields light to medium coverage. At first, I thought that it was just a regular, runny concealer; couldn't understand why it was described as 'opaque' by L.A. Girl until I tried it.

Holy moly! The consistency of the product sure fooled me right in there; even if the product had sheer consistency, it still delivered and impressively at that because it had a good concentration of pigments; this product reminded me of Bobbi Brown Intensive Skin Serum Concealer's lightweight texture yet great concealing properties.
TIP: To maximize the formula of the product, just dab it onto the skin to let it set.
I used the product on pretty grave marks and it did an excellent job at covering 'em up; see the two, prominent dark spots on my cheeks? They're pretty dark without anything on and this concealer was enough to cover 'em!
Staying power of the product is amazing; no fading, creasing, caking, and sinking into fine lines. Dang, this concealer is so fine, I wish I bought the last 10 tubes available in the store!
I have found the best drugstore concealer for me - of course I'm open to the fact that I may find something equal or better, but for now, I love this thing and I can tell you, the hype is real - this concealer delivers way beyond expectations and the price. If you can't find it in department stores, there are online shops locally that are selling this thing.

Yay! I have this! And orange and gren corrector. This really works well especialy on blemishes.

Been trying to find this in stores but always out of stock! best-seller talaga, great to know that the hype is true, I'll be enjoying mine when I get it :) affordable pa!

ReplyDeleteI'm planning to buy this one sa online seller sa IG but I noticed the price difference kaya di ko tinuloy.Its half of the original price kaya I think its not really authentic.
For the price and amount of product that you got, it's a steal!
ReplyDeleteHi Ms. Martha! I also love this concealer! I do agree with you on the part of letting it set first before blending it. It never fades or creases under my eye :) You can get this at a more affordable prices online (and they sell most of their shades their too!). I got mine at an ig store:makeupmermaidph for only 195 :D
ReplyDeleteOoooh, impressive! I love the fact that they have 24 shades because there are a lot of options to choose from, and you can have both contour and highlight shades! Meron rin silang color correcting concealers! :) How does this product fare against Maybelline's Fit Me concealer? :) Have you tried that one? I personally find Maybelline's formula a little thick, so it gets hard to work with at times. LA Girl's runny consistency seems to be more friendly for make up newbies like me, and I really love the brush tip! :) I'm definitely getting some of these soon! Huge plus points too since you can get them for less than 200 pesos online! :)

ReplyDeleteI've been seeing a lot of positive feedback on this product for months now but I keep forgetting to check it when I go to malls. My bad. Last week I decided to finally buy it online and I got it just a couple of days ago so I haven't really tried it yet. After reading this blog, I surely don't regret buying it. Another thing, it's way cheaper online as I got mine at P187 only. :)

ReplyDeleteI have this too! A little goes a long way that's why I have been using it almost everyday. I liked that it did not give me any breakouts as well.

ReplyDeleteI have to get this NOW! hehe This is a nice cheap concealer and i always see positive reviews. Hope this will work for me because whenever i use concealer kasi it always crease sa may eye area.(so fingers crossed) The problem now is what shade to pick? hehe so many choices.

Medyo undecided ako to buy from online stores since nagkalat ang mga fakes, I know only know one store which sells this baby but I was too late since nasold out yung mga lighter shades and as well as the correctors. ReplyDeletethe problem with buying it online is that you will never know it it is authentic or not, and there are lots of imitation and class A products of this brand here in the Philippines, blame it on China...lol., but I'm glad I bought the original one from a reliable store here in Gaisano Mall Davao.
