 THE VERDICT:

Sheer- textured liquid foundations are always the hardest to work with just because it's hard to find a good brush that won't either sweep it away as I work it on my skin or absorb the product into the bristle abyss. Guerlain The Foundation Brush, I recently discovered, is the perfect brush for such foundation formulas! It disperses sheer foundation onto the skin whilst keeping the product on the skin!

GUERLAIN THE FOUNDATION BRUSH IN DETAIL

The Foundation Brush, according to Guerlain, can also be used for blush, highlighter, and blotting powder.

The brush is made up of synthetic bristles with a wooden handle and polished gold- plated ferrule; it comes with a pouch.

GUERLAIN THE FOUNDATION BRUSH IN ACTION

Here's a close- up of the brush. This is my preferred brush for Guerlain Lingerie De Peau Natural Perfection Foundation; it's like a match made in heaven. The brush works well for any sheer foundation because it distributes the product without thinning out the coverage further, sweeping it away, or absorbing it. The stain on the bristles don't come off completely though, but that's something that I deal with not only for this brush, but for other brushes as well! If this is out of the budget for you, you can keep the shape of this one in mind and look for an alternative. But if you love sheer bases, you'll find this one really handy!

  3. With that price, I can a new bottle of foundation. Either way, judging from your review the price seems to give justice to its quality. However, I don't really use brushes for my foundations since I refer Beauty Blenders nowadays. Anyway, I know that many people would still buy this, it's Guerlain, so why not?

I think this brush have really soft bristles. Or it just looks like one? 😂😂 I really like it but  its way out of my budget. Can't afford pa mga ganitong luxury brand. But for the packaging and the quality I guess it's still worth the price. Thank you for this review Ms. Martha!😊

  7. Why do you do this to us? Huhu... This is such a pretty brush, I know I don't realy need, plus it's really expensive, but you make me want to get it sooo bad. I bet this would work wonders on BB creams too.

  10. May I ask if you also tried it for applying blush? I don't use a brush for the make-up, but somehow I fell in love with this one. It's expensive, but...
