Here's a review on Pink Sugar Honey I'm Good Eyebrow Kit in Sassy Brown and Perfect Taupe.

THE VERDICT:
Pink Sugar just added a product that just completed the brand range (I'm biased, I know. I love brows!): Honey I'm Good, Eyebrow Kit; my inner brow diva is happy; when I got my hands on this product, I immediately tried it and here are my thoughts about the product.
PINK SUGAR HONEY I'M GOOD EYEBROW KIT IN DETAIL
This brow kit contains a slanted brush, flat brush, 3 brow powders, and a pigmented brow wax. It comes in two color combinations: Sassy Brown and Perfect Taupe.
The kit is a medium- sized square compact that's pretty lightweight and sturdy; doesn't feel cheap at all!

The brushes have synthetic bristles and I like their overall quality; my favorite is the slanted brush because it's sturdy and slim that it aids me in creating a cleaner, more precise brow mapping.
The powder has a semi- creamy finish; it's also pigmented and can be blended easily, but it does not cling well on the skin; I need to mix it with a not so pigmented wax from another brand to give it traction. Also, the shades tend to look darker when finally on the skin; that also goes even for the pale ones over there; the powder and wax are pretty pigmented so I won't recommend layering the two to correct or support each other, really.
Speaking of the wax, it's my favorite in the kit because it functions as a brow pomade, not just a wax. You know me, I'm a fan of brow pomade! Pigmentation is medium to heavy that it can be a stand alone product, plus when it sets, it stays put!

TIP: Apply the wax using featherweight strokes and brush on the product with a spoolie in between applications to distribute the product evenly before it sets.
Huzzah! Diva brows in an instant! I use Perfect Taupe because it fits the color of my hair and shade preference. Another thing: the shades are quite dark; hope there will be lighter brown shades in the collection soon.
The wax stays put all day. I can also work out in it.
Pink Sugar Honey I'm Good Eyebrow Kit offers two products in one kit, perfect for those who like experimenting with different products on a daily basis. Just a lil' improvement on the color range and texture of the powders and this will be perfect!

Wow, Pink Sugar has eyebrow kit already. I only use Etude house eyebrow pencil (perfect for a beginner like me). I haven't tried to use any other eyebrow kit on my own. You're right, this doesn't look cheap. Very handy, so cute!I like how you did your brow, you used the shade same with what my eyebrow pencil's shade because it also fits the color of my hair. Hate how others use th shade that's completely different with their hair color, lol. Will definitely look for this kit and Pink Sugar's lip crayon.

ReplyDeleteI have this one in Sassy Brown!I really love the wax inside it. I've tried a few of eyebrow kit and oftentimes, the wax is not pigmented at all, I mean what is it for? But this one is an exception. I usually just grab my eyebrow pencil when I am in a rush but I could use this if I am not. I don't particularly use the powders for my brows, I don't think it suits me, (I just feel like something is wrong with it but I cannot point it out) so I just use it as a regular eye shadow.

And you really choose the right one for you as it appears the same color with your eyebrow and it doesn't look like you added something on your eyebrow :)))

ReplyDeleteTuloy tuloy na talaga pagsikat ng Pink Sugar. Nagtatrabaho na ako and all, saka lang ako natuto magkilay haha. Mas sanay din akong eyebrow pencil ang gamit. Pero nung nakita ko to, parang gusto ko din itry. Mukha kasing maganda and affordable naman :)
