 THE VERDICT:

Scheduling your Halloween party late this week and you don't know what makeup to pull of yet? Not to worry, a fancy shade of lip color and lip art can do the trick - it's easy and inexpensive at the same time.

Make Up For Ever's new, extensive range of lipsticks will bring your lip art fantasies to life and I'm reviewing two of my faves from the range today: C603 and C601.

MAKE UP FOR EVER ICONA POP LIPSTICKS IN DETAIL

The revamped lipstick range features 48 colors for everyday wear to professional makeup use.

C600 is a white shade and is categorized as a corrector color and C603 is a dark blue shade from the MUFE X Icona Pop Collection; it's a shade by Aino, the other half of the chart- topping duo.

The lipsticks, specifically the one that come in fancy and corrector colors, are in a cream formula for easier and better blending; these lipsticks have a smooth, creamy, semi- glossy finish and is lightly perfumed. Pigmentation is medium to heavy and nice to know that despite the creamy formula, these lipsticks stay put and fade gradually; they don't dry out my lips too.

MAKE UP FOR EVER ICONA POP LIPSTICK IN ACTION

C600 works well as a lipstick too! Coverage can be patchy though if used as a lipstick (perhaps due to the pigments) so you have to even it out; 'tis a really nice shade of white! Other uses for this shade are 1. As a corrector 2. As a gradient lip color 3. As a color neutralizer.

C603 by Icona Pop is a beautiful Navy Blue; it's in between warm and cool, making it suitable for almost any skin tone, including warm skin. Here's my amateur attempt at creating lip art: I would like to call this Trypophobia, but you can call it cloudy day too; whichever you think it is LOL. :D

Make Up For Ever's new lipstick range is cool and sleek, packaging wise, and the range helps bring out the artist or the daring person in you. Would like to try out their mattes next!

  2. Looking at its texture from your photo, I think it's best for lip arts! The creamy texture makes it perf for blending and gradiating! I love the lip art, Ms. Martha! It's so cute and I think Cloudy Day would be perf title for it! <3

Yey another lipstick review! 😍 I definitely agree about the formula of this icona pop lipstick and also loving the trypophobia lip art that you made Ms. Martha. Though I'm still hesitant to buy one because it's quite pricey 😭 sorry huhu it's really hard to try this  products due to financial incapability. Haha  #studentproblems. But still thank you for the review Ms. Martha and Happy Holloween! 😄

  4. Nice lipstick but a bit expensive for me. This is good for artsy thingy, it's obvious that these are pricey because of their quality. These two look so creamy and moisturizing. I love that you slay it! (you slay whatever color haha). Nice review!

  5. OMG, I wasn't ready for this!!! I was amazed by the colors, I thought it was magic lipsticks that transforms into a red or pink color when worn when I saw your IG post on these haha... the navy blue one is too bold for my liking, di ko keri mag-wear ng ganitong shade! mas tolerable pa yung white shade hehe, it's beautiful and it looks good on you! something strange, something unique from makeup forever!

  7. These are like Jeffree Star's liquid lipsticks. It's obviously not for daily wear but definitely for art or whenever you feel like stopping a show. The texture looks so creamy, I bet blending it with many colors would be a dream!

  11. MUFE is a little too expensive for me. But I like both colors. I wonder what color it will look like if I combine both colors. Must be pretty I guess. =)

  13. The colors are intense. I can't imagine myself buying those nga lang. I'm not yet so adventurous in terms of lip colors. Pero bagay na bagay sa Halloween events. :) Plus, a bit expensive for me; I won't be able to use naman often
