 THE VERDICT:

This palette is probably the closest thing to having the most sough after local celebrity makeup artists curate a palette for me. As you may know, Happy Skin X Glam Squad collection is a collaboration between one of the Philippines' top beauty brands and some of the local makeup gods namely Jigs Mayuga, Denise Ochoa- Go, Mickey See, and Juan Sarte. I finally have one of the products from the collection that I've been lusting over, Glam Squad Contour Duo. Swatching this for everyone today!

HAPPY SKIN GLAM QUAD CONTOUR DUO IN DETAIL

This contour and blush duo comes in complementing, flattering shades for Filipina skin tone.

The products come in a matte finish; texture is a bit dry, which I think is intended to help the color last longer especially on oily skin. For dry skin, moisturize prior usage.

The contour powder comes in a taupe brown shade and the blush in a rosy coral shade. Pigmentation is medium to heavy.

HAPPY SKIN GLAM SQUAD CONTOUR DUO IN ACTION

One layer of the contour powder

This is a pretty natural- looking shade; it just mimics the naturals shadows of my face and I like how it warms up my skin at the same time.

One layer of the blush

I am liking the color of this blush; it's a subtle, warm coral that's perfect for my skin and the rosy undertone makes it perfect for any season!

I'm liking this duo and to date, this is Happy Skin's best cheek product. Also, the packaging is simply gorg!

  5. This Happy Skin product is really raved by most bloggers/vloggers. Because they don't just used it for its main purpose but they also used it as an eyeshadow makeup. That is a great 3 in 1 makeup..contour, blush and eyeshadow.

  6. The contour powder does look lovely. The color is spot on. The pans just look too small for my liking. What brush did you use for contouring, did you have any issues with it fitting in the pan?

  8. Haven't tried HappySkin blush yet, but tried their lip pies and oh they're gorgeous, I've never tried using a contour powder before (the thing is I don't know how to it, hehe) maybe I need to practice a lot before I go out with a contour on.. But I do love the shades bagay siya, I think it'll also fit even morena skin types.. 👌🏽 💕
