If you're going to ask me what affordable cheek tint that has really good staying power will I recommend, I'd say this: Smink Beauty Blush Blush Baby Cheek Tint. Been using this user- friendly cheek tint lately because it has amazing staying power and my Crossfit workout approves of it!

Smink Beauty is a local brand of cosmetics; fairly new in the industry, their first- ever product is Blush Blush Baby Cheek Tint that contains Vitamin B3 and promises long- wearing coverage. It currently comes in three shades: Headturner, Flustered, and Sugar Rush.

 L-R: Sugar Rush, Headturner, Flustered

Consistency is a bouncy gel with a sweet powdery scent; pigmentation is medium to heavy and I only need a small amount for my cheeks. What's most lovable about this product is it can be applied on top of makeup and it won't remove it; just dab the cheek gel on your cheeks to blend it on the skin and you're good to go! It stains fingers though, but it goes away after a couple of rinsing.

Headturner is the classic rose shade. Perfect for any skin tone!

Sugar Rush is my favorite! This hot pink shade just makes me feel pretty and feminine!

Flustered is a bright coral shade. Perfect for warmer skin tones and those who want a beach- inspired flush.

These are very long- wearing that I use these when I work out; my current workout is Crossfit and to those who've tried this workout, you'll know how it can make you sweat buckets; these tints can last a Crossfit sesh!

TIP: I use these as a lip tint too for a lasting just bitten stain and soft, tinted effect.

With the ease of usage, pigmentation, and range of colors, I can't believe these are P150.00 only! These tints are perfect for everyday use and a must- have especially this summer when all we want is to just wear less amount of makeup, but still have the color impact!

10 Lovely Thoughts

  1. This is so affordable! Oh my! and Filipino made? So amazing! :)

  2. Thanks for this! I love all the shades and I love that the tint lasts long.

  3. Sugar Rush din ang gusto ko. Wow, Dumadame na ang mga local brand at affordable pa. Thanks for this post Ms M

  4. Another local product offering promising cheek color at an affordable price. My bet among 3 is the headturner, more on brown pink shade and can be worn everyday and fits morena ladies like me. This tint is very promising considering its price and that it is long lasting. However i am not a fan of items that are only available online as I cannot try them personally unless i bought it. Just sharing another tint, a lip and cheek tint I know that has a very good lasting power is the Sophie Paris lip and cheek tint with an affordable price on 100-110 only. This tint last also up to 8 hrs and can be remove using a make-up remover.

  5. This is different from the usual ig famous lip and cheek tint that comes in a roller. This is more hygienic and looks juicy from its tubes! Hope they have more shades to offer. I want to try this one :)

  6. My teenage daughter is asking me to buy her a lip and cheek tint. Though she's more of a cheek tint gal this would be a great option for me to buy it for her. I think Sugar rush or flustered would be a perfect choice for her.

  7. Now when it comes to cheek tints, I only use two brands: The Body Shop when I have extra moolah and Ever Bilena when I'm broke. LOL. I have a warm undertone and I think Flustered will suit me perfectly. Will check Smink in IG too!

  8. Wow! I would love to give this away as gifts to friends who love a hint of pink on their cheeks. Another local brand doing an awesome job. Yeah love the fact that more brands are coming from the Philippines.

  9. Wow! This product looks promising! This is the first blog review for this product coz I have tried searching more reviews after reading yours, Ms. Martha. Thank you for posting a review. I really want to try this, seems a good alternative for the sophie blush product. Are the ingredients indicated on the label? Thank you as always!
