Now here's the much- awaited annual giveaway of The Beauty Junkee!

Can you believe it? We're finally 8! As I write this, I couldn't help but smile because I remember how this humble website started (I've mused about my story for a bajillion times already so let's skip that :D).

Sometimes, I think I haven't done anything significant in life or haven't gone that far yet, but when I open my laptop and see 4,762 published posts, 44,201 comments, and nearly 20,000,000 views, I tell myself "Hey, I'm not doing bad!" 

The last 8 years of my life, through my blog posts, I've been nurturing a community of like- minded women who believe that makeup is more than a passion, but a purpose; a community who encourage and uplift one another through creative means such as shades, hues, and textures; a community who are continuously transforming to become the best version of themselves. And I am happy that I have done so and will happily do so until I can no longer write (hopefully!).

One day, when I become old, I would gladly look back at the days of The Beauty Junkee and smile because wholeheartedly, I'll say, that this is one of the best things that has happened to my life. :)

I've been preparing for this anniversary for two months and finally, I'm unveiling it! Before you proceed with joining, let's agree on something; please be reminded of the following:

1. One slot = One participant. Chosen participants cannot reserve slots for their friends.

2. No haggling with the fee.

3. For the winners, once you receive the email, please respond within 48 hours. Otherwise, slot will be forfeited and given to another contestant without prior notice.

Are we good with that? Okay. 

The slots are up for grabs, but payment must be made to cover the food, drinks, venue, packaging, and transportation of the items (these are 50 heavy bags, guys, no joke). As I said, I am getting married and have no extra budget to cover these things; instead, I devoted my time, influence, resources, and connections to come up with this amazing event. So yes, these are worth P700.00 in my opinion. :)

If you're wondering why the slots are up for grabs if you're paying anyway, I initially wanted to do first come first serve basis for the slots, but figured it is unfair for those who don't have a lot of time or cannot go online quickly due to work, family errands, etc. to join, but would love to go; I know some of my biggest fans who can only go online at night time, some days, or weekends due to work so to level the playing field, I did this.

The Beauty Junkee's 8th Anniversary Meet And Greet will be held at Upstairs at Commune, a coffee and bar that serves good food and damn good coffee. Upstairs at Commune is a space where creatives and professionals alike gather for skill- enriching workshops, talks, and projects.

On the menu of TBJ 8th Mega Anniversary Meet And Greet are a list of drinks and light meals such as crostini sampler, hummus and crudites, mushroom patê, and the famous mini cookie cups.

Here are the special guests of my meet and greet: Cai and Liz are two of the most inspiring and driven ladies I've met, and they have inspired me in a lot of ways in my career as well. It's just fitting to have these two (pink) forces come to the celebration and I also believe that they can inspire you just as they inspired me.

The talks will cover three important aspects in a woman's life: Career (Liz), Beauty (me), and self- esteem (Cai).

I'm also debuting my PAK! PLAKADO FOUNDATION TECHNIQUE. In here, I'll teach my long- lasting, flawless foundation routine. Of course, no workshop of mine is without Billion Dollar Brows Technique!
