 THE VERDICT:

It is no secret that I am a big fan of Kiehl's Midnight Recovery Concentrate, one of the best facial oils I've tried and it still continues to work its wonders on me up to this day. Imagine how giddy I was when they announced that they finally have a cleansing oil version. Yippay!

WHAT IS IT:

A signature blend of botanical oils including the rejuvenating Evening Primrose oil. Cleanses, soothes, and revitalizes; non-comedogenic, sulfate- free, and Mineral Oil free.

This is an emulsifying oil that doubles as a makeup remover and facial cleanser. Formula is scented with lavender, thus helping calm the senses. It picks up after Midnight Recovery Concentrate's lightweight yet supercharged blend of essential oils, thus it doesn't feel heavy and clogging.

HOW IS IT? HOW DOES IT WORK?

Consistency is very spreadable and a small amount is enough to dissolve makeup; I wore waterproof foundation here and two pumps of the product were able to cover my entire face and cleanse it completely.

Overall, I like the feel and performance of this product, plus I noticed that my skin doesn't feel taut nor oily after cleansing; noticed a bit of rejuvenating effect too after a week of usage. I use this along with Midnight Recovery Concentrate and the result is fabulous, well- rested skin!

  6. Cleansing oil is all the rage right now. I wish there is a dupe for this. Though Kiehl's is a bit expensive, I appreciate that I can go to their store and simply ask for a sample of a product I want to try. They even do free skin consultation sometimes. I might try this on their store :) Thanks for this post

  8. Cleansing oils are really a thing right now. I've seen some other brands too. I've tried one from Biore. Before I used J & J to remove my makeup. In general oils are great not just for removing makeup and it has added benefits for the skin too.

  9. Good to know that this cleansing oil does not leave the skin oily. Im afraid of using cleansing oils because I feel like it would leave my skin feeling greasy.
