Pink Sugar has just dropped a new lipstick line called Velvet Matte, a range of creamy lipsticks that pack a pigmented punch. Swatching them below!
WHAT IS IT?
Promises full coverage in one swipe and a weightless, velvety matte finish, and a non- greasy moisturizing feel. Comes in 5 shades.
Ingredients
BIRTHDAY SUIT
A soft beige with a warm peach undertone. It's a classic everyday neutral.
DEJA VU
Berry Pink. My favorite in the bunch because I have enough nudes and neutrals to last me a lifetime so I appreciate bold colors such as this. Deja Vu is a versatile shade that can be used at work or during date night.
GOSSIP GIRL
A pink-plum shade. A cool, casual pink that's perfect for weekend strolls.
ICONIC
A powder pink with a hint of mauve. My favorite next to Deja Vu; this prettifying shade of nude pink flatters warm skin tones; i like how classy the shade looks too.
SENORITA
Brick red. Another refreshing break from all the nudes; Senorita is a fiery red that's sexy and chic. Because we can never have enough reds!
The lipsticks are creamy and smooth; they glide on easily without the drag, but there's still a bit of control so you can customize your coverage; extremely pigmented and lasting power is decent; it can last an entire meal, but needs to be retouched during the day; bears the classic bright candy floral scent of their HD and Creamy Matte lipstick lines. What I love about this range is the formula is absolutely non- drying, rich, but not heavy, and gives my lips a plump look. Compared to the brand's Creamy Matte range, Velvet Matte is demi- matte while the former is soft matte and looks more matte. Velvet Matte has heavy pigmentation and Creamy Matte has medium to heavy pigmentation.

I personally love the Birthday Suit and Iconic :) by the way, the Señorita shade suits you very well :) don't know why po pero mas gustong gusto ko po na red lipsticks ung nsa lips mo :) sa presyong 350, worth it naman po pala. Almost perfect ung rate nyo po sa kanila e :) thanks for the swatches :) can't wait to try Creamy and Rich matte Pink Sugar Lipstick too! :)

DeleteI love the natural warm color of the birthday suit! It's good to know they are offering several matte types of lipsticks. Creamy would probably be my pick. The color range is pretty competitive as well. Suitable for most Filipinas. Price is pretty reasonable too! Thanks for this, Ms. Martha!
