THE VERDICT:
What do you get when two of the world's most iconic French brands in the beauty and fashion world collaborate? Seriously good- looking lipsticks. C'mon, how can you not resist having at least one of these limited edition L'Oreal X Balmain Lipsticks, the newest lipstick collection of the French beauty giant. I saw these on Instagram a couple of months ago and was smitten by the colors and packaging (I love anything marble!), and hoped that they'd release these in the Philippines. The lipstick goddesses must have heard me and here we go!
I have 6/12 shades from the line. Let's not beat around the bush and go straight to the swatches!

Color Riche's color collection gets dressed up by Balmain, one of the most revered fashion houses in the world. The packaging was designed by Oliver Rousteing, Creative Director for Balmain. Colors are categorized per series: SAFARI, ROCK, and COUTURE.
Texture is similar to L'Oreal's classic Color Riche Moist Matte Lipsticks, but this one has been enriched with Camellia Oil. It's a soft, gentle matte lipstick formula that glides on smoothly, volumizes, and doesn't dry lips at all. More about L'Oreal's matte lipsticks in THIS REVIEW.

OMG!!! Ang gnda ng shades at cute ng packging perfct gft this holday, no need n ng gift wrapped, just put a card and ready n ibgay. I love the Red, orange and the soft peach, cla mga bet n bet ko n shades. Grbe tingin p lng nkakainlove n un shades nila. Mgnda din un mga dark lipstick kso hndi bgay skin, ky Madam lng bumbagay!!!
ReplyDeleteOh wow! Love the packaging! Just by looking at it I already have an idea how much it would cost :P It looks so elegant, but what's inside is more important. Love the shades but the best for me would be Legend. I have a thing for taupe colors. Although this is a very nice limited edition kit, I don't think I would buy it because it is way beyond my budget :P
ReplyDeleteSeriously?! I have been eyeing for both Eye of Horus BIO Goddess lipstick vault and BDJ BOX X PINK SUGAR Lip Pop box and NOW THIIIIIIISSS!!! I love the classy & elegant look of the coffret box and I think I'll be having a hard time to choose among the three.

ReplyDeleteWow, I love the colors. I saw your rating for staying power, not bad. I love your reviews on products Ms M. We ladies won't be having a hard looking for makeup products that are value for money. Yeah a bit expensive, but if you have the moolah, go for it.
ReplyDeleteThe shades are just sooooo sophisticated! AND THE PACKAGING GRABE. THE. BOMB. It's just a little painful to look at knowing that I wouldnt be able to afford this anytime soon but man, I'd really love to get access to even just one! The packaging reminds me of Harry Potter book covers. So classy and it has this nostalgic classic depth to it. They really thought this through.I'm impressed. Balmain and Loreal did a beautiful job in this creation. Looking foward to more collabs from them! The shades all look equally beautiful on you! At first, upon seeing Fever in the swatch photo, I thought only the people with fair skin could pull that color off. You proved me wrong <3 You slayed the whole line, Ms. Martha!
