Next to Halloween, I think New Year is one of the occasions where you can go all out with makeup. But are you running out of makeup ideas to spice up your NYE makeup look?
Don't worry, here are 5 makeups that will add an instant touch of pizzaz to your makeup look. Best part is these can just be an add on to your existing look; no need to think of a new one if you already have planned yours!
1. BYS GLITTER KIT
- One of BYS' best makeup releases for me. Glitter is always the glam factor in makeup and BYS Glitter Kit is your easy glitter makeup solution. Sprinkle it on your hair, add to your eyeshadow using the included glitter primer, or sprinkle all over your body for a shimmering effect.
2. FALSE EYELASHES
- Big ones, I mean. A lot of people are still iffy about wearing false eyelashes and I'm telling you, they bring out the eyes for real so try it on for NYE!
TRY: Taiwan Falsies; Bohktoh Falsies; All Belle Falsies; BYS Falsies; Quicklash Magnetic Lash; Seowoo Self- Adhesive Falsies
3. SHIMMERING LOOSE POWDER
- For sure, you'll be wearing matte foundations for NYE so your look will last. Combat the flat matte look with shimmering finishing powders or at least finishing powders with a hint of shimmer to bring back the glow to your face.
TRY: RCMA Gold Powder; Guerlain Meteorites
4. CREAM ILLUMINATOR
- Want a strobe that lasts? Apply cream illuminator first then top with your favorite powder highlighter. This versatile makeup can also be used on the body and to spike liquid foundation.
TRY: Sleek Highlight Palette; Sleek Barekissed Illuminator; Revlon Photoready Skinlights Liquid Illuminator; Benefit Watts Up; Benefit Sun Beam; Guerlain Terracotta Gold Bronzer
4. MAKEUP SETTING SPRAY
- A lot tend to overlook makeup setting spray as a part of their makeup routine. I'm here to tell you that it's one of the best things that you will use to make makeup last. Spritz on generously and party on!
TRY: BYS Matte Setting Spray; NYX Matte Finish Setting Spray; Nichido Matte Spray; Mary Kay Makeup Setting Spray

ReplyDeleteGawa Naman Po ikaw NG new year's look
I love your tiara, Ms. Martha! Hahaha! I'm so glad you recommended the Bohktoh falsies. I was actually hesitant on buying those since it's a bit pricier than the other single packed ones I see in department stores. Pero set naman na yung mga benta nila per pack so I think it's a pretty reasonable price to pay for the amount and quality of their falsies. This is a pretty good list. I do 100% agree on the items you chose to rev up the NYE looks (especially the glitter and the shimmers)! Thank you so much for this, Ms. Martha!

ReplyDeleteI've been wanting to try false eyelashes but I'm not too sure of brand to try. I'll also check falsies from BYS!
Thanks for the suggestions Miss Martha!
I seriously still doesn't know what makeup look I shall try this NYE. I still have a long way to go since I only have the essentials. Might go with just the natural look. I'll try my best to have the complete set of makeup for the year 2018.
