THE VERDICT:
Is it the year of Ultra Violet or Nudes? Because brands have been releasing a ton of nude lippies lately and I ain't complaining! At the latter part of 2017, Maybelline released Intimatte Nudes, a 10- piece collection of varying shades of neutrals and nudes with a powdery matte finish. See all the shades!
Texture is soft and buttery, pigmentation is heavy, and finish is indeed a powdery matte.

Deep brown shade.

- Warm salmon.

Texture is pretty similar to Maybelline's Color Sensational matte lipsticks, but the look of Inti-mattes is softer, more powdery. It's great for those who don't like the flat, dry look of super matte and traditional matte lipsticks. However, it tends to highlight flaky areas so exfoliate before usage. It also has a tendency to dry out lips for a bit during wear so prep lips with lip balm before usage.

ReplyDeleteWith this lipstick I was able to recreate the Kylie Jenner pout lips without enhancements and/or lip fillers.
I just wore the lipstick without lip liner and it did the job.
If I were to compare it with Mac Taupe or Mac Persistence...this wins.
The bad side of this lip product is that it can be a bit drying but aside from that it's the perfect 90's Kylie lippie.

Also love Almond Pink and Chili Nude!I have Pink Shot from their PowderMatte collections and texture is incredibly lightweight that I almost forgot I'm wearing lipstick.
ReplyDeleteOnly problem was the lipstick broke after a couple of uses. Maybe because the lipstick formulation is not sturdy enough unlike other Maybelline lippies but overall, still highly recommended!
