THE VERDICT:

When Kat Von D unveiled her brow pomade, I had to get it so I had my eyes set on it when I visited Australia. I've been wearing it ever since I got it because this baby is super long- lasting, it won't budge unless you take it off, but mind you, it doesn't come of with just any makeup remover, which is a testament to its staying power! Deets below!

Kat Von D Long Wear Brow Pomade is one of the newest eye products of her namesake brand. This product claims to last for up to 24 hours.

I've been waiting for one of my favorite makeup brands to come up with a brow pomade because I've mentioned time and again in most of my brow products reviews and tutorials that this is one of my favorite formulas.

First, the packaging. I wouldn't expect anything less from KVD knowing her artistic background and as a huge admirer of her brand's aesthetic, and the packaging of this one did not disappoint; look at the details of the cap; never thought that brow pomades can look this cool!

This has got to be the most inclusive brow pomade range I've seen! The range has about 16 shades ranging from browns to rainbow colors; there's even white in the shade selection! How cool is that?

I got Taupe because when I swatched the collection, the browns tend to go a bit dark and also for a change, I went for my non- usual shade. Taupe is a grayish brown shade; I figured that this will end up looking darker than what it is on me anyway because my brows are pretty thick.

Texture is a soft, mousse- like cream and finish is matte. It sets fairly quickly so apply gradually and blend, blend, blend right away. It has no scent and pigmentation is heavy; I only need a light dot of the brow brush to get what I need. I'm guessing this will last me for more than 2 years even if I use it everyday; it's THAT pigmented!

I was right; Taupe ended up looking darker than the color payoff and I'm also digging the natural finish.

The pomade tends to get a bit tacky while setting so you have to comb it out in between applications to avoid clumping; definitely something that newbies in makeup have to know if they wish to purchase this product.

With this product, I can go swimming, do Crossfit, and party all night until the next morning, and my brows won't budge. When it comes to makeup removal, it's best removed with an oil- based makeup remover because I noticed it resists micellar water and other water- based makeup removers.

I'm impressed with this one! In fact, I'm using it almost everyday because I really like the shade, plus staying power is great. I highly recommend it to kilay lovers because it's one of the best brow pomades I've used!
