THE VERDICT:

Aaaaand just like that, we're back to Crayon lipsticks! It is no secret that crayon is one of my favorite lipstick formats because it's like having a lipstick and lip liner in one; I'm glad that brands are starting to embrace crayon lipsticks again.

Pink Sugar relaunches the crowd favorite These Lips Don't Lie Creamy Matte Crayon lipsticks; this time, packaging is cooler and there are new shades to choose from! Let me swatch all the 8 shades for you!

First off, I love the lavender/baby pink ombre look of the box! I'm into pastels nowadays and I dig the thing! One swipe is all you need to get a decent color payoff; what I love about this lipstick's formula is the rich, balmy texture that keeps lips moisturized the whole day; finish is semi- matte and stays put, but you still have to retouch during wear. Also, it gives lips a volumized look and has a lovely light, vanilla scent!

Here's an arm swatch for ya. There are 8 shades to choose from. Some of the creamy matte lipstick bullet and Sugar Tint crowd favorite shades are also featured in the crayon version like Quenn Bee, Diva, Desire, and XOXO.

- A midtone rose. One of the original shades of their Creamy Matte lipstick range (bullet).

2. GOAL DIGGER

- Muted berry pink. My favorite! I'm back to loving pinks!

3. WOKE UP LIKE THIS

- Pale rose with a hint of beige.

4. XOXO

- A dusty rose. This shade first came out in their Kylie Jenner- esque lipstick collection from 2016.

5. QUEEN BEE

- Deep rose with a hint of brown. One of the huge favorites in the Sugar Tint range.

6. HEAD OVER HEELS

- Midtone bright cool pink.

7. DIVA

- Midtone red with a brown undertone. Another best- seller of the Creamy Matte lipstick range (bullet).

8. BREAKFAST IN BED

- Soft peachy nude.

All the shades are gorgeous, but I wish there were more reds and darker colors for night. But I guess Pink Sugar is steering this into the "daytime casual lipstick collection" direction and if that were the case, it's all good.

How does it differ from their Creamy Matte bullet lipstick range? One, this has a more matte finish. Two, this has better staying power and feels much more luxurious. Finally, it comes in an efficient packaging and format.

Next to Sugar Tint, These Lips Don't Lie Creamy Matte Crayon lipstick is my favorite lipstick line from Pink Sugar's lip product range. I highly recommend this to people with dry lips, those living in cooler areas, and those who want lip balm and lipstick in one!
