THE VERDICT:

Sleek MakeUP Philippines now carries Lifeproof Foundation, their newest, exciting foundation and to date, it has the biggest shade selection at 15 shades! It's also a good counterpart of L'Oreal Infallible Pro-Matte, but it's more dewy and oil- free!

Sleek Lifeproof Foundation comes in 23 shades internationally; locally, Sleek MakeUP PH carries 15; it's one of the largest (if not the largest) drugstore foundation shade range I have encountered, at least in PH. Medium to heavy coverage, formula claims to be sweat and oil- proof, long- lasting, oil- free, has Licorice that helps lighten discoloration, and soft- focus blurring powders that help smooth skin.

Ingredients:

Aqua (Water), Cyclopentasiloxane, HDI/Trimethylol Hexyllactone Crosspolymer, Butylene Glycol, Cyclohexasiloxane, Polyglyceryl-2 Diisostearate, Cetyl PEG/PPG-10/1 Dimethicone, Dimethicone Crosspolymer, Disteardimonium Hectorite, Phenoxyethanol, Methylparaben, Tocopheryl Acetate, Caprylyl Glycol, Silica, Alumina, Triethoxycaprylylsilane, Panthenol, Sodium Hyaluronate, Ammonium Glycyrrhizate, Escin, Glycerin, Ruscus Aculeatus Root Extract, Centella Asiatica Extract, Hydrolyzed Yeast Protein, Calendula Officinalis Flower Extract, Sodium Citrate, Pentaerythrityl Tetra-di-t-butyl Hydroxyhydrocinnamate. Product comes in a simple, no- fuss squeeze tube; definitely easy to lug around and store; fyi, plastic squeeze tube is one of my favorite foundation packaging along with the classic bottle with pump.

Regarding the ingredients, there's polymer and dimethicone so if you're allergic to these ingredients, please try it first before purchasing.

My shade is LP08. The shades, in general, are on the warmer side so yay for morenas and dark skin tones, but there are enough shades to choose from for medium skin tones as well. For fair and light skin tones, there may only be a few. With the 15 shades available, you can definitely mix and match to customize your own shade.

Consistency is a bouncy cream; it's cream, but without its usual richness because it is oil- free. Finish is soft matte. It's very easy to spread and sets efficiently, and into a soft matte finish.

Coverage is buildable; I didn't use any corrector and concealer here yet, yet the foundation has evened out my skin and concealed minor discolorations nicely. Since consistency is light cream, it may not be as effective in concealing bumps so use a heavier cream concealer on them before or after the foundation.

TBJ TIP: I find that a regular foundation buffing brush does the trick. I won't recommend using a sponge like Beauty Blender because even if it's full coverage, it's not Kat Von D or Huda Beauty foundation thick, and doing so might diminish its coverage.

This foundation feels light! I love the coverage because it's full yet doesn't look like I'm wearing full coverage foundation. Staying power is pretty good at 5 hours before my t-zone starts to secrete sebum.

Sleek MakeUP Lifeproof Foundation is full coverage for everyday; great for those with moderate to heavy discolorations and for ladies who love full coverage foundation that can be easily worn everyday. It's also a good alternative to L'Oreal Infallible Pro-Matte because it does the same job, but without the oil ingredients and thickness.
