THE VERDICT:

I'm a big fan of Dragon's Den; it's a reality T.V. show that features insanely rich British entrepreneurs looking for the next big investment; it's basically the counterpart of America's Shark Tank. In one of their episodes, a struggling hairstylist Shaun Pulfrey came seeking investment to build his invention, the Tangle Teezer. Tangle Teezer then went on to be one of the most successful brands ever featured in the show...but only after his idea was rejected by the entrepreneurs. Tangle Teezer sells 20 brushes per minute and founder Shaun Pulfrey became even richer than the entrepreneurs in the show after selling the company for a whopping 200 million British pounds!

The lesson here is aside from grit and belief in your brand, the most successful products are those that solve problems like tangled, out-of-shower hair and hair fall. This is one brush that I wish I bought sooner because it's been minimizing my hair fall since I got it!

A favorite of celebrities like Victoria Beckham and Nicole Scherzinger, Tangle Teezer is a brand of detangling hair brushes from the UK. Their flagship product, The Original, is a rounded grip comb. This is what I got because I really wanted to try their classic product.

The secret of Tangle Teezer's superb detangling capabilities lie in the design: the density of short and long bristles lining the entire brush bed gets into every knot and tangle, which allow for easier, virtually painless and hair fall- free detangling.

The first time I tried it, I am in disbelief; disbelief that I did not almost pull my scalp out trying to detangle my hair and that it only took me less than 3 minutes to smooth out my wet hair. My only problem is the brush tends to fly off my hand, but the merit in the design is it gives you more control when combing. But there's now a Tangle Teezer shaped like a regular brush.

Let me show you why I love, love, love this product:

Combed my wet hair with a regular brush. This is actually a conservative amount of hair fall I experience on a daily basis whenever I detangle my wet hair; I use my Acca Kappa paddle brush more, but I dare not show you because it's pretty gross because it's full of hair haha.

The next day, I combed my hair with Tangle Teezer. Can you even see the strand!?! AMAZING. But of course, this depends on how tangled my hair is; sometimes, I get more than one strand, but it's not as crazy as using a regular paddle brush.

One for me, one for the hubby

My husband tried my TT one time and he got hooked; he was using mine everyday so I bought him his own. You know guys and their affair with hair; anything that will make their hair look better, they'll buy!

There are actual counterfeit Tangle Teezers available in the market. You're probably thinking there's really no big deal whether you're using a counterfeit hair brush or not, but know that illegal goods hurt the market, the economy, and also the community because we don't know if the workers are treated fairly and working in a humane facility.

Tangle Teezer is a game changer and finally, I don't have to twitch my face from hearing heartbreaking snaps and crackles while detangling hair. I wish I discovered this sooner! I'll definitely recommend this as a gift for Christmas!
