Innisfree Green Tea Seed Eye Cream review
THE VERDICT:

Pag-Asa said that the chilly weather will get chillier and last until the end of February; but weather, Y U WARM AS EARLY AS NOW?! It's getting warmer now, which could only mean one thing: Summer is almost here!

Before the 40- degree season hits, it's best to change up your skin care routine into something more refreshing, hydrating, and ultimately light; your skin will need all the hydration it can get because our summer can be too drying and harsh on our skin; blame it on global warming! :(

Innisfree's best- selling skin care line, Green Tea Seed, is known for its rich hydrating properties. How does this line work? Let me tell you about it.

Innisfree Green Tea Seed skin care review
Innisfree's best- selling Green Tea Seed skin care line features Green Tea derived from Jeju Island; it features patented Dual Moisture Rising Technology that protects the skin from further moisture loss and seed oil extract creates a barrier of moisture on the skin.

Innisfree Green Tea Seed skin care review
According to Innisfree, they studied 2,401 variants of Green Tea to concoct a special moisturizing variety that they included in their proprietary formula; Innisfree Green Tea Seed skin care line is enriched with 16 amino acids that they called Beauty Green Tea, which thoroughly moisturizes dehydrated skin, making it look more dewy and radiant.

This skin care range is huge! Locally, there are 11 products in the range, but in other countries, there are even more including facial mists, various types of masks and serum, and more types of moisturizers.

Let's get to know the products thoroughly so you will know which one is best for you:

Innisfree Green Tea morning cleanser and foam cleanser Ingredients
Green Tea Morning Cleanser and Foam Cleanser

Green Tea Morning Cleanser is a transparent gel cleanser; ideal for an early morning wash because of its light cleansing effect; it's not clear though if this is a low pH cleanser; if it were, it would be even more perfect as a morning wash because it won't disrupt the skin and mess it up for the rest of the day. The formula is also perfect for oily skin.

Green Tea Foam Cleanser is a much more concentrated foam; the formula is more moisturizing as well and it's perfect to use before hitting the sack because its high foaming formula will remove deep- seated dirt; it also good for dry skin.

Innisfree Green Tea Seed Cleansing Water and Cleansing gel to foam Ingredients

Green Tea Cleansing Water is the line's makeup remover; it's best for removing light to moderate makeup; it has a nice green tea scent. As you can see in the photo, it removes makeup well, but I broke out from this one. :(

Gel-To-Foam cleanser is more of a high foaming version of the Morning Cleanser. This is best for oily skin types that wear a lot of makeup because its foaming action will dislodge makeup residue and dirt effectively.

Innisfree Green Tea Seed Skin Toner Ingredients

Green Tea Seed Skin Toner is one of the line's best- sellers; a lot love it for its gentle, effective hydrating benefits. It's also my favorite from the line because it's perfect to use before makeup and it manages to clean my skin even more even without the presence of alcohol. Cool!

Innisfree Green Tea Seed Eye and Face Ball Ingredients
Green Tea Seed Eye and Face Ball
This portable, multitasking serum can be used both on the under eyes and face.

I like bringing this product when traveling because it's dual purpose and comes in a sleek tube; it's a refreshing, rich gel cream that sets easily, has a cooling effect, plus the metal ball applicator adds more cooling benefits that help minimize pores and de- puff eye bags.

Green Tea Seed Eye Cream

This is a rich, moisturizing eye cream that's perfect to use at night time. This is one of the products that I love from this line because it's so moisturizing and I wake up with refreshed eyes!

Green Tea Seed Essence-In-Lotion ingredients

Green Tea Essence in Lotion is a multi-benefit product that combines a serum and moisturizer; this is ideal for oily skin because of its lightweight texture. This is also the daytime moisturizer of the skin care line.

Green Tea Seed Cream

Green Tea Seed Cream is a rich, emollient cream; it's designed for night time use, but can be used by very dry skin types even during daytime because even if it's rich, it is not pasty or occlusive in nature.

I personally love using this product during night time because it's very hydrating, but doesn't feel heavy or clogging on my skin, plus it gets absorbed properly while leaving an ample barrier of moisture; it doesn't stain my pillows and sheets.

Green Tea Seed Serum ingredients
The actual serum of the line. This is a light gel serum that delivers more hydrating and antioxidant benefits to boot.

This is a good serum, especially for those who are serum newbies; it's a gentle, basic serum that's more on hydration, plumping the skin, and making skin appear more radiant; serums can be scary for beginners, but serums like this can help anyone ease themselves into this advanced form of skin care.

Innisfree Green Tea Sleeping Mask Ingredients
Green Tea Sleeping Mask ingredients

This rich, gel overnight mask is perfect for those with severely dry skin; it takes a while to set, as all all sleeping masks do, but leaves a thin, protective barrier that doesn't feel heavy and is breathable. However, I broke out from it too like the cleansing water; there must be something in the composition of both products that did not sit well with my skin so I stopped using both.

Whew! Now that's a lot of product!

After using Innisfree Green Tea Skin Care for a month
I've been using the range for a month and I love how it keeps my skin superbly moisturized, feeling healthy, bouncy, and dewy; with my moisture- charged skin, makeup just adheres and looks better. And if you're a long time, avid reader of my blog, you will know that I swear by anything that promises hydration. I

Save for the mask and cleansing water, Innisfree's Green Tea Seed skin care line is a great, hydrating skin care range that's perfect for summer and even year round for tropical countries because of the generally light textures of the products; the green tea scent is refreshing too!

I know what you're thinking; there's just too many products and you're probably wondering if you need everything. I say no; you just need a few key products to come up with a good everyday regimen and here are combinations that I will recommend:
