THE VERDICT:
Nose strips are a permanent part of my routine. I just love the thought of pulling out hardened sebum, whiteheads, and blackheads from my nose...and staring at them on the strip (LOL).
A lot of people would advise against nose strips because it can be harsh to the skin, but in my 6 years of consistently using nose strips, I've never had any major problem concerning irritation; as long as you follow the product directions properly and don't abuse it, I guess you'll be just fine! I know some people who would use nose strips everyday because they're curious how much gunk they'll harvest compared to the last; it's true and it's bad so don't emulate!
My long- time favorite nose strip, Watsons Pore Strip, seems to have changed its formula; it's not as effective as it used to be. :(
Good thing Biore Pore Pack nose strip, one of the highly raved nose strips around Asia, arrived in the Philippines last year; it's now my new HG nose strip!
Each pack contains 4 strips. To be honest, it's expensive considering Watsons Nose Strip is around P120 for a pack of 10. Also, for only 4 strips, I find the box packaging a bit wasteful.
Each pack comes with an instructions pamphlet with Tagalog translation. Again, I find this a bit wasteful; the foil packaging has English instructions anyway so I don't see the need for a separate translation manual. Besides, nose strips have been around; it's ubiquitous and Biore's market surely knows what these are for and how to use them so I think they can ditch the pamphlet.
Biore Pore Pack White is the original and has a pore tightening formula.
Meanwhile, Biore Pore Pack Black contains Charcoal that helps absorb oil and has antibacterial properties to boot, making it perfect for extra oily and acne- prone skin. A lot would mistake this version as 'for men', but know that both Biore Pore Pack variants can be used by anyone.
Bye bye blackheads! |
Tadaaah! Check out my harvest! It's pretty abundant today LOL. :D
Biore Pore Pack sticks very well on the skin and doesn't move around; it's stickier than most nose strips I've tried, which gives it better pulling action. It can hurt a little though so my advise is don't wet your nose too much and pull out slowly.
My skin feels much cleaner after using this product and I don't feel the need to use another strip because it takes out a lot of dirt! Now I've found my HG nose strip in Biore Pore Pack; it's expensive, but economical overall!

ReplyDeleteOmg! I didn't know Biore had nose strips!!! My HG nose strip is from The Face Shop kaso it's not available in our area so I hoard whenever I'm out of town. Sad naman wala ding 7/11 sa amin. Sana pati sa Watsons available siya. I badly want to try this one na tuloy. Hahaha! I'll hoard this on my next out of town trip. 😀
