New Cetaphil Ultra Gentle Body Wash: made for sensitive skin

One of the things I get always asked about as a beauty blogger is "What are the products that are best for sensitive skin?" Lately, I've been getting queries on best bath products for sensitive skin.

I'd always recommend Cetaphil because my family has proven its efficacy and affinity to sensitive skin; my husband who literally can't use moisturizer because he will break out and can only use selected facial cleansers would always go for Cetaphil because it's gentle enough for his skin.

Cetaphil is extending their range to further cement their status as the brand made for sensitive skin with the new AD Derma body wash and Cetaphil Baby. Good news for discerning mommies and individuals who have sensitive skin all over!

The new Cetaphil Ultra Gentle Body Wash is a low pH, fragrance- free formula enriched with Panthenol and Aloe Vera to soothe irritation. Panthenol, also known as Vitamin B5, is one of the skin care ingredients that I always look for because it helps protect the skin barrier by increasing the hydration level of the skin. The formula also uses gentle surfactants like SLES and cocamidopropyl betaine; a research revealed that using a mixture of surfactants is gentler compared to using just one surfactant.

There's also Cetaphil baby for top to toe cleansing needs of your little one!

  1. Yes Miss Martha! Cetaphil cleansers are the best especially for super sensitive skin. My dermatologists even let me substitute this for my prescription skin wash which was waaaaaaay more expensive and worked just the same.. :)

  7. I haven't tried the body wash yet, but if i may add, for people having issues that the Cetaphil Skin Cleanser is a bit slippery and does not lather, you may try the Cetaphil Moisturizing Bar. It is soap-free, mildly scented, non-comedogenic and produces enough lather to make you feel squeeky clean without the harshness of reqular soap. It has two variants: the regular one and anti-bacterial.. the price difference as i remember is only 50 pesos.. :)
