Facial Sunscreens That Are Light on the Face

Wearing sunscreen on a daily basis is still a big issue for most because the crazy white cast and suffocating, goopy consistency still haunt most people to this day.

So here's a quick list of my favorite sunscreen products for the face that are so light, you wouldn't even know they're there.

1. BIORÉ UV AQUA RICH WATERY ESSENCE SPF 50+ PA++++ (P488)

- An online favorite of consumers and beauty gurus alike. This SPF/skin care product is a gel- type SPF with hydrating and moisture- retaining properties. It has a fresh texture and feels just like a gel moisturizer.

2. BENEFIT DREAM SCREEN SPF 45 PA+++ (Around P1,800+)

- An oil- free SPF that has a silky, primer- like formula. It is unscented, goes on invisible, and the semi- silicone texture smooths skin's texture and provides a good base for makeup.

 3. NEUTROGENA ULTRA SHEER SUNSCREEN SPF 50+ PA+++ (Around P600+)

- A lightweight, hydrating sunscreen with a sheer, watery texture, making it great for almost any skin type. P.S. My husband who has sensitive skin and breaks out with almost anything can completely tolerate this spf!

4. BELO SUNEXPERT SUNSCREEN SPF 40 PA+++

- An affordable favorite. Belo SunExpert is paraben- free, non- comedogenic, therefore won't induce break outs (unless you have sensitive skin and can't tolerate a couple of skin care ingredients). It's a light cream that's great for dry and combination skin.

5. SHISEIDO WET FORCE PERFECT UV PROTECTOR (Around P2,500+)

- Shiseido is my preferred brand for high end sunscreen because it's lightweight, doesn't cause breakouts, and waterproof!

Which of these are your favorites? What do you recommend?

  1. I'm a huge fan of Biore. Recently, I saw on Fb that Biore formulation has paraben? Is it true? Hopefully, not :(

  3. Biore is a tough one to beat indeed! I've tried Belo before but it didn't quite work out for me. :(((((((( Guess my skin type doesn't quite match the product properties of that variant. GLad that it works for other people! Support local!

  5. You should try Canmake's Mermaid skin UV gel. It has almost the same consistency as Biore's, but has little alcohol content! :)
