I don't know about you, but I think this has been the most grueling summer yet; temperatures hitting 53 degrees, heat mirage appears not only on the pavement, but on the horizon as well, and it's like you're in a burner when you walk down the street! We really need trees and we really need to find a way to fight climate change.

Kiehl's Ultra Facial Oil- Gel Cream has been my savior for the last two months in this intense weather. I couldn't tell you how much I love this moisturizer because it's so refreshing, hydrating, and moisturizes without heaviness; it's truly made for Philippine summer!

Kiehl's Ultra Facial Oil- Gel Cream is a light, cream-gel moisturizer with Antarcticine and Imperata Cylindrica extract that help retain moisture. It's recommended for people with dry and oily skin, and even sensitive skin.

If you're a huge fan of the OG Ultra Facial Cream, you'll love this most especially if you have oily skin because it's more lightweight yet still delivers the same, intense moisturizing effect as its ancestor. I love the original Ultra Facial Cream, but different times call for different moisturizers so I'm glad Kiehl's came up with this variant.

Consistency is a goopy cream that deliver a fresh, watery burst of hydration as you work it on your skin; it's fragrance- free as well. A little goes a long way because it's pretty concentrated and I love the refreshing feeling I get from it every time I use it; it's like a cold splash of water on my skin whenever I apply it and quite frankly, it does help minimize the irritating feeling due to the weather.

It keeps my skin well moisturized the entire day; it also performs well underneath makeup. My skin doesn't get dry, taut, or flaky the entire day, but maybe my oily skin helps with it too. If you have dry skin, I suggest use a little bit more to ensure that skin stays hydrated and nourished all day. My only issue with gel moisturizers like this is it seems like they evaporate faster than their emulsion and cream counterparts.

I've been obsessed with this moisturizer the entire summer and it's the only thing I've been using; it's perfect for my skin type, it moisturizes just as much as my favorite Ultra Facial Moisturizer, and it just makes this weather bearable!
