THE VERDICT:
A hair mask has been part of my daily routine ever since I started coloring my locks; since my hair's very fine, it's more prone to frizz, flyaway, and damage is more pronounced. I learned recently that bleaching is not for me as my hair's gotten completely dry. Now I need hair mask more than ever!
I recently received samples of Keratin Plus Hair in Black and Gold; wasn't expecting anything because my hair's used to more high end masks (just because they're more concentrated and my hair seems to react better to these kinds of masks), but the saying "don't judge a book by its cover" has never become truer in this case: Keratin Plus Hair is an amazing discovery of mine for smooth, silky hair! Can't believe I only discovered it now!
Keratin Plus Hair is a Brazilian Hair Treatment- inspired mask infused with Keratin, Jojoba Oil, and Argan Oil that help fight flyaway, frizz, dryness, and ideal for hair that undergoes regular styling and frequent coloring; I even saw online that it is suggested for rebonded hair to keep it tamed and smooth.

This is the gold variant with additional Sunflower and Rosemary Oil for intensive treatment; this is most likely ideal for those with severely dry and damaged hair, or naturally hard to tame hair.
Both variants pretty much have the same consistency: rich, emollient cream with a fragrant floral scent. The scent is strong, but isn't offensive; I like how it makes my hair smells, but the scent doesn't last too long, at least on me.
Here's my hair after using Keratin Plus Hair. I use Black most of the time because I dunno, it just feels better on my hair.
I leave it on for 3 minutes as instructed and after rinsing, my hair magically becomes super soft and silky; best part is the hair mask is fairly easy to rinse despite the rich consistency; it's even easier to rinse than most conditioners and masks.
I've been using it for two weeks straight now, moving from twice a week to three times a week and my hair feels and looks much better, even better than the effects of some pricey, Keratin- infused conditioners I have been using; and even if I stop using for a day or two, my hair is still soft, silky, less frizzy, and has lesser flyaways. Boy, this is good!
How I wish it just came in a more earth- friendly packaging; I'm trying to move away from sachet products as much as I can; this one's really good and I really hope that the brand will consider a new type of packaging or if the sachet variant is really good, business- wise, I hope they will consider biodegradable sachet or sachet made from recycled materials.

ReplyDeleteSo far to date only Dove anti-hair fall has helped manage my hair. I'd love to try this though. I just hope its not too strong and cause more hair fall for me.
ReplyDeleteSadly, it has paraffinum liquidum, and dimethicone which can cause clogged pores :(
