BEAUTY BULLETIN: Celebrity and cartoon makeup collaborations!

Fresh drops from Maybelline, Lancome, Wet N Wild, Luminess Cosmetics, Kylie Cosmetics, and MAC! Collaboration is the name of the game for a lot of beauty brands nowadays and I approve of this because everyone's getting competitive (in a good way) and coming up with the coolest collab collections, specifically those featuring iconic cartoon characters; here are some that my beauty radar has detected lately. Bye, sweldo! :D

WET N WILD X PACMAN

- Nope, not Manny Pacquiao; not even Jinkee Pacquiao! Wet N Wild's new, fun makeup collaboration is with PacMan, one of the most beloved games of the 80s and 90s (beauty geeks, rejoice!) Gosh, I played this a lot when I was younger and nothing can beat the thrilling feeling of narrowly escaping the ghosts that want to eat you!

Wet N Wild teamed up with the creators of PacMan for a makeup collection that takes you back to your childhood laid-back, summer days where you're just sitting all day, playing PacMan; Wet N Wild X PacMan makeup collection box features Ghost Glosses, blush palette, eyeshadow palette, lip balm, highlighter and bronzer, lip scrub, powder brush, and eye brush. The products are sold as a set only and available in Ulta; if you're a PacMan fan and know someone who's in the USA, better ask them to get it for you now before it's too late!

MAYBELLINE X ALICE X OLIVIA

- NYC's famous home- grown fashion label, Alice X Olivia, collaborated with Maybelline for this super cute Asia- exclusive collection; yep, you read that right: this is only exclusive in Asia!

Two of NYC's leading brands team up for this stylishly cute collection that features, matte and satin lipsticks, mascara, face palette, face cushion, and cheek stick.

You can get this collection from leading department stores in the Philippines.

 SIR JOHN X LUMINESS THE LION KING COLLECTION

- Sir John, one of the most talented makeup artists of today and is also the makeup artist of Beyonce, teamed up with Luminess Cosmetics for this makeup collection that celebrates one of the greatest animated films of all time, The Lion King. ICYMI, Beyonce is voicing over Nala in the upcoming live action film and this collection by her MUA is just so timely (or maybe it is the reason why they came up with this collab? Who knows!)

The collection is inspired by the colors of the lush African landscape so expect lots of earthy hues. The collection includes eyeshadow palettes, highlighter, contour palette, matte bullet lipsticks and matte liquid lipsticks. The entire collection is also available as a set for $250.  CHIARA FERRAGNI X LANCOME

- Fashion blogger turned celebrity influencer turned up-and-coming fashion mogul, Chiara Ferragni aka The Blonde Salad partnered with Lancome for her first makeup collection and collboration.

Inspired by Chiara's signature makeup look, which is fresh- faced with a hint of sun- kissed color. The products feature her signature blue- eyed wink logo. The products in the collection are a face palette, Hypnose mascara, liquid lipsticks, and glossy lipsticks. The collection first launched in Italy and kicked off in Nordstrom on June 13.

 KYLIE X KOKO

- Khloe Kardashian is back with Kylie for yet another makeup collection. Kylie X Koko is a petite collection featuring liquid lipsticks, lip liner, highlighter, and eyeshadow palette. One cute fact is the shades of the eyeshadow palette all have the word TRUE in the, which is the name of Khloe's daughter.

MAC X MARY J BLIGE

- One of the greatest female rappers and RNB stars of all time, Ms. Mary J Blige, teams up with MAC Cosmetics for the LOVE ME lipstick shade in celebration of MAC's 25 years; coincidentally, it's also the 25th anniversary of MJB's album, My Life.

The shade is called French Silk, a light pink with peach undertone; Mary J Blige is a huge lover of nude lipsticks, hence the shade.
