It is no secret that perfumes have an impact on one's mood; this is one of the reasons why I am in love with perfumes; it's like a mood veil that you put on and instantly lets you channel the mood/aura/personality that you want to have; it's the last step in dressing up that elevates the meaning of and adds more character to your outfit. Without a doubt, perfume is an invisible force that boosts your mood and style.
But Chopard's Happy Lemon Dulci perfume does not only impact the mood metaphorically; it ACTUALLY has an impact on the mood because of its ingredients! If you want a perfume that not only smells happy, but affects your overall mood positively, then you should know more about this fragrance!
Chopard Happy Lemon Dulci EDT is one of the variants in the Happy fragrance series with the other being Felicia Roses. The perfume collection is inspired by the Bohemian girl, a known female icon for environmental love and activism, therefore it only makes use of sustainable ingredients and methods for the creation of the fragrance line.
Happy Lemon Dulci's packaging reminds me of theaters and palaces with towering baroque marble pillars; simple and elegant. I have the 100ml bottle and it feels quite heavy so I transfer it to my Travalo cases when traveling.
Top notes have Lemon, Bergamot, Ginger, and Shiso. Heart notes have Mango, Orange Blossom, Cucumber, and Apple. Base notes have Mint and Woody notes. The fragrance starts off as very bright and energizing sweet citrus; a few seconds after spraying it on, the brightness mellows down; finally, the fragrance sets into a floral citrusy fragrance. It's bright and energizing through and through, perfect for tropical weather and most especially, summer.
How does this fragrance impact the mood? Happy Lemon Dulci is comprised of ingredients that are called the "antidepressants of nature" such as Lemon, citrus oils, and fresh leaves; I get how these fruits and plants are called as such because seeing lots of greenery when I'm in nature just calms my mind and citrus oils are known in aromatherapy as mood lifters and boosters. No wonder this fragrance makes me feel happy, calm, and generally, I'm in a good mood whenever I have this on. Longevity is pretty good: it stays on for about 4 hours before I have to retouch the fragrance.
Happy Lemon Dulci EDT is great for those who love light, refreshing scents, and those who are into the sweet-citrus-floral range. Not kidding when I say that this fragrance puts you in a good mood when you use it so I recommend it to those who need a fragrance that doubles as an actual perfume and a mood booster. I'd also recommend it to those who are prone to stress; not saying that this fragrance is an antidote to stress, but it's just one of those products that will help us minimize it.

ReplyDeleteyes yan din gusto ko sa perfumes ung d lng sya mabango pero nakakadala din ng mood! ayoko sa matatapang na pabango kasi sumasakit aNG ulo ko sakanila hahaha, i mean literally masakit sa ilong and ulo effect sakin ng matatapang na amoy.. buti na lng marunong ate ko mgpadala ng pabango, puro nature scents pinapadala nya, nakakabawas din tlga ng stress ang mabangong amoy!
