THE VERDICT:

I've received this duo last year and only got around to trying them a month or two ago. I really take a while to try and use skin care because I am the type who wants to hit pan on skin care products because I won't use them anymore when I move on to a new product or brand!

Since I'm into fresh textures and watery formulas lately, I figured it's the perfect time to try CosRX Light Fit Real Water Toner to Cream and Lock The Moisture Stick, innovative moisturizers that deliver fresh moisture that's perfect for daily use.

Light Fit Real Water Toner to Cream is a toner/moisturizer product with Vitamin C and E to brighten and nourish the skin, Niacinamide to boost skin, and Sodium Hyaluronate for moisture retention. Formula is paraben- free, surfactant- free, mineral oil- free, alcohol- free, and animal byproduct- free.

Lock The Moisture Stick is a versatile stick moisturizer that can be used on the face, lips, under eyes,  and eyelids. Can be used as skin care or as a moisturizing balm after foundation to re-hydrate skin. Contains Centella Asiatica to soothe skin and help remedy acne, Sodium Hyaluronate to moisturize, and Ceramides to keep skin plump and even.

Lock The Moisture Stick is a clear stick with a fresh balm texture. It's pretty solid and doesn't feel as if it will melt if applied directly on the skin. It has a light floral scent. I love how portable and mess- free this product is, making it perfect for traveling. In fact, I brought this with me in my recent US trip as day moisturizer.

Light Fit Real Water Toner to Cream is a silicone- feeling gel that turns to water when you work it on the skin; I actually think it should be the other way around: CREAM TO TONER because it starts off as cream then becomes watery when you buff it on the skin. CosRX said that you can use this product however you want it to: apply with your fingers if you want to use it as a moisturizer or squirt on a cotton pad if you want to use it as a toner; but either way, you'll get to experience the product simultaneously as a moisturizer and toner; to me though, this is more of a moisturizer.

Light Fit's packaging is an airless pump; nice to know that the product and ingredients inside are sealed and kept fresh, and it's one less CFC- laden packaging that's harmful to the ozone layer.

Here's me with Lock The Moisture Stick on. It leaves a moisturizing barrier on the skin that feels a bit emollient, but generally fresh and hydrating; it's perfect for makeup wear because it's sheer, doesn't take a while to dry, and compatible with most makeup formulas.

CosRX said that the stick can also be used as moisturizer after makeup wear; this means you can re-moisturize your skin and makeup at anytime of the day, particularly when your skin and makeup are looking and feeling dry. I've tried it and I realized, you can do this on small areas only like the sides of the nose; applying it on larger areas can cause makeup to cake or run off, depending on the formula. 

For under eye use: it works as an eye cream as well, but personally, I need something richer because I have dry under eyes; not bad though if you're traveling and you need to save space, but at the same time you want all your skin care concerns covered. 

For lip use, it can be a daytime lip balm or something to prep lips during makeup application, but personally, I don't cross- use products on my face and lips.

Light Fit Real Water Toner is great to use on days when you're lazy because it's a toner and cream in one, plus it works great under makeup too; it's a great moisturizer for daytime and summer as well because of the formula, plus I love how it makes my skin feel fresh; great for makeup use as well. CosRX said that it can lighten pigmentation over time, but I haven't observed any of that on my pigmentation yet.

Light Fit Real Water Toner and Lock the Moisture Stick are two innovative moisturizer formulas; they're great for oily skin, moderately dry skin, and normal skin. The formulas are ideal for our tropical weather as well; these products are pretty much basic hydrating skin, but only in innovative formats; great for you if you're only looking for maintenance and lightweight skin care, and won't have to deal with acne, severely dry skin, and other skin issues.

Between the two, I love Lock The Moisture Stick!
