THE VERDICT:

These are the new lipsticks of EB Advance that went viral on social media a few weeks back when it was launched in a beauty fair: EB ADVANCE ABSOLUTE MATTE LIPSTICKS.

EB Advance is becoming a big favorite of many as well along with Ever Bilena because aside from having trendier colors, their products are more pro in terms of color selections versus Ever Bilena's everyday, basic selections because EB Advance lives by the 'play to pro' concept for their products.

Going back to Absolute Matte lipsticks, this new range has a soft, butter- like feel and the colors are absolutely gorgeous!

The new EB Advance Absolute matte lipstick shade is a a 6- piece collection; it promises high pigment coverage in one swipe and a powder matte finish.

First, the packaging. It's very pretty! For P185, I'd say it's worth it considering the packaging alone; it's a nice look that I think EB Advance should adopt for all of their products. Also, packaging reminds us of Fenty Beauty's slim lipsticks, right?

Ingredients

EB Advance said that the lipsticks have a powder matte finish, but I think it's more of buttery. Pigmentation won't disappoint you; one swipe and you get a gorgeous, full coverage color payoff. The colors are also not your usual midtone shades of pink, brown, and red; instead, EB Advance chose to go for modern, popular shades, or the K Beauty- inspired shades.

- Dirty taupe with brown undertone.

2. PERK

- Midtone peach.

3. SIESTA

- Warm coral with a rose undertone.

4. GALORE

- Terracotta brown with a peach undertone.

5. PLUSH

- Berry mauve

6. BOSS

- Midtone, blue- based red.

The lipsticks have an even payoff and buildable, but never heavy. It has pretty good staying power; I noticed that when I tried wiping off one color to swatch another, I had to rub my lips for a bit to take the color off, which goes to show that this has light staining properties; but it still has to be retouched after wear.

The finish is soft matte with a teeny hint of sheen; the sheen is not discernible from afar and it looks completely matte. Among all of EB Advance's matte bullet lipsticks, this is by far the most matte in terms of finish. Glad to know that the finish of their matte formula is improving bit by bit. Also, no dryness experienced during wear.

So far, Absolute Matte lipstick is a great line for me and I hope that EB Advance will expand the line soon. My favorites from this range are Siesta, Galore, and Plush! How about you?
