THE VERDICT:
A little sick today so I decided to stay at home and play with some of the palettes I have; one of the new ones I have and incidentally, Ever Bilena's latest eyeshadow palette as well, is Ultimatte, a 12-pc., all- matte eyeshadow palette in a gorgeous autumn- inspired color selection.

Ever Bilena Ultimatte Eyeshadow features 12 eyeshadow pans in expertly- coordinated shades and with a matte finish.
The packaging is pretty basic and clean; I like the transparent cover because it allows me to see the shades right away or if there's a crushed pan. The color combination reminds me of Huda Beauty Warm Obsessions Palette.

The eyeshadows have medium to heavy pigmentation; it's best used dry because using it wet will make it harder to spread and blend on the lids because matte eyeshadow tends to stick on the skin and even more so when wet.
I've used the product on this look, but as an accent product only; I applied it specifically on the above crease and outer crease; for the lower lid, cut crease color, brow bone, I used another eyeshadow palette. I find that this matte eyeshadow palette is not the easiest to blend and the shadows work better if used with other eyeshadow palettes that have a smoother texture like satin, metallic, and shimmer. Since Ever Bilena Ultimatte eyeshadow palette is very affordable, the matte eyeshadow used is probably the most affordable type too; Huda Beauty's matte eyeshadows are buttery and blendable, but the price of course is much more expensive.
I think the texture of the eyeshadows in this palette can still be improved. But if you're looking for an affordable accent eyeshadow palette, you can consider this.

I would consider buying im currently looking for matte brown shades..its so subtle..i dont want browns that are so powerful looking like huda...this is for natural look like yours..so lovely Ms. Martha 😘

ReplyDeleteI've tried other EB palettes but i always end up giving them away. I can't blend them properly even with primer, dry or wet, I just can't. I'm still looking for an affordable alternative as the ones that worked for me are quite expensive.
