THE VERDICT:

iWhite's products are constantly being recommended in beauty groups on social media, particularly the blackhead masks and Aqua Moisturizer. 

iWhite's products are not only good, but conveniently packaged in sachets as well that cater very well to the trial, travel, and almost-all-ages demographics; I don't really support the sachet idea because it contributes to the world's gigantic plastic problem, but after interviewing some girls, I began to understand why some people would choose sachet products; it's because of: 1. Price 2. Product trial to prevent wastage due to budget constraints. Still, I would love for companies like iWhite to reach out to the budget market in another way other than sachets.

Anyway! This is not the first time I have tried iWhite's Aqua Moisturizer (the facial wash, my first time); before, it didn't have the word WHITENING on it; it was marketed more as a hydrating product. I never gave it a lot of thought then until I discovered that it was in my beauty bag that I got as token from an event I have attended last weekend.

I've used these products for a couple of days and now I understand why a lot love the moisturizer as well as the facial wash: these are pretty good skin care below P200!

iWhite Whitening Vita Facial Wash Ingredients

iWhite Whitening Vita Facial Wash is a deep cleansing facial wash that removes excess oil and impurities, and whitens skin. Formula has Mulberry Root extract to help lighten pigmentation, Panax Ginseng Root and Green Tea leaf extract to revitalize skin, and Vitamins C and E that help fight free radicals and strengthen the skin to help fight acne- causing bacteria.

iWhite Aqua Moisturizer is a hydrating moisturizer with Bio-Nanotechnology that increases the ingredients' potency. Formula has Panax Ginseng Root and Green Tea Leaf extracts that help prevent premature aging, and Mulbery Root extract for skin whitening.

The moisturizer has an interesting blue color; it immediately gives you the feeling that it's refreshing and soothing. It's a water- based moisturizer with the feel of watery gel; it's bouncy, spreads easily, and despite the watery formula, it doesn't feel that it evaporates right away, thanks to sodium hyaluronate; it has an aquatic floral scent that is uplifting and provides all day, lightweight moisture, making it perfect for oily skin types (even all skin types!). I just noticed that in my first usage, a portion of my skin looked blue, which I have concluded was due to the colorant of the moisturizer; it went away when I buffed the product properly on my skin and thankfully, no breakouts. If you have sensitive skin though and have known sensitivities to product colorants, you should test this product first before full usage.

The facial wash is a pearlized, rich, creamy product that lathers really well and leaves skin feeling clean, revitalized, and fresh; it has a musky floral scent; it leaves the skin a bit dry so I moisturize my skin right away after usage, but it is not overly dry.

These two products work well together and they're perfect for almost all skin types and the kind of weather that we have. The moisturizer is such a good find: it's lightweight, perfect for oily skin, works well under makeup, provides lasting hydration, and costs under P200 only; it can give most pricey K-Beauty hydrating moisturizers a run for their money and is arguably the most affordable K Beauty- inspired moisturizer with great quality. The facial wash is a good find as well, but if you can only spend on one, I suggest go for the moisturizer!
