FAN MAIL FRIDAYS: 10 Best Wedding Perfumes for Brides

Happy Friday, Beshies! Sorry, I was pretty much MIA yesterday because I ran errands for my business ack! Traffic was so bad yesterday; I spent 10+ hours on the road and it actually took only 2 hours to finish all my tasks while the rest of my time was spent in traffic. Oh, when will our traffic situation get better? :(

Let's all pray for that, plus a better government first of all!

Anyway, today's Fan Mail Fridays is from Mary Ann and she's asking for recommendations on the perfect perfumes for brides:

My sister will get married in 5 months' time and I came across your wedding blog posts; truly, they're a wealth of information. One of the things that I want to ask you regarding weddings is: what's the perfect perfume for brides on their wedding day? I'm planning to give my sister a perfume that she can wear to her most special day. Looking forward to your response!

That's so sweet! Your sister will surely appreciate your gift. A perfume, to me, is one of the important things for a bride because it's going to be her signature scent on her wedding, plus it's going to define her mood and aura that she wants to portray and have on her most special day, therefore the scent should be inspiring, beautiful, and wedding- apt.

Here are ten of the perfumes that I chose from before getting married; shared here my choice for my wedding too!

1. VALENTINO VALENTINA EDP

- One of my favorite powdery floral fragrances; Valentina by House of Valentino is young, vibrant, and sophisticated at the same time.

2. RALPH LAUREN ROMANCE EDP

- One of Ralph Lauren's iconic fragrances. Romance is a beautiful musky rose that truly spells romantic! It's one of my mom's staple perfumes and it eventually became my own.

3. CHLOE EDP

- I think I don't know anyone who hasn't declared Chloe EDP as one of their current or previous HG perfumes. Classic Chloe EDP is a leathery rose that's both magnetic and feminine; this is one of the  iconic fragrances that has a commanding presence and I think it will boost your energy on your most special day.

4. PHILOSOPHY AMAZING GRACE EDT

- Love is tender, comforting, and sweet, and the perfect fragrance to tell this story is Philosophy's Amazing Grace EDT, a cloudy, light floral that smells absolutely feminine and graceful.

5. REPETTO EDT

- If Chloe EDP is a bit out of budget, try Repetto. This semi- strong green floral smells classy and has that commanding presence as well. Best for audacious brides.

6. GUCCI BLOOM EDP

- A beautiful, modern rendition of jasmine and tuberose; this fragrance just reminds me of white dresses and white bouquets, ergo it's wedding- perfect!

7. FRANCIS KURKDJIAN AMYRIS EDP

- Master perfumer Francis Kurkdjian is famous for his namesake perfume line and Amyris is one of the best- sellers; this green, woody floral is both pretty and a tad bit fierce, making it the perfect choice for contemporary women.

8. ELIE SAAB LE PARFUM

- Elie Saab is one of my favorite classy perfumes; it reminds me of ball gowns, lace, chandeliers, and beautiful rhapsodies playing in the air as the bride and groom take their first dance together.

9. BALENCIAGA L'EAU ROSE EDP

- My perfume of choice on my wedding day! Balenciaga L'Eau Rose EDP has ticked all the boxes for me: soft yet powerful, long- lasting, and laced with Rose, my most favorite scent.

10. CHANEL CHANCE EDP

- A citrus, woody floral that's ethereal and classy; it's one of Chanel's most famous contemporary fragrances. If I had the budget for this in my wedding, I would have gone for this!
