A'Pieu Now in Manila!

The K-beauty craze doesn’t seem to be slowing down any time soon as more and more consumers are getting invested in the wide variety of brands available. The newest brand to make its way on Philppine soil is the Korean skincare and beauty brand A’Pieu.

The A’Pieu brand is relatively new and started in 2008. It was only sold online until they opened their first road shops in Korea back in 2011.  The name A’pieu originates from the French word for “basic” or “first.” This is the core of their concept where they want to be the first skin care and make up for young girls by providing gentle and top quality products. 

In fact, many of their products contain around 95% of organic ingredients like fruit and vegetable extracts and fresh goat milk. They also stay true to their gentle formulas by having hypoallergenic products perfect for sensitive skin. Their formulas don’t have GMO, Triclosan, parabens, and/or mineral oil.

While they were able to make a name for themselves over the years, not many people know that A’Pieu is actually the daughter brand of another famous beauty brand Missha.

One of their best sellers is called the Madecassoside or “Madeca” line. This 9-piece line is dedicated to healing and improving very sensitive skin. There are people who have easily irritated skin with the most gentle products out in the market. The Madeca line, as it is called, is the perfect fit for those who want to take good care of their skin without causing any uncomfortable irritations or damage.

In line with their main concept, they have a gentle line for skincare beginners. This is perfect for teens who are starting a skin routine. There are a lot of products in the market that have ingredients too strong for adolescent skin. Thus, the 18 skin care line provides the gentle care young skin needs without irritating the skin’s natural balance.

Like any K-beauty brand, they have their own line of make-up. From the basics like brow products, foundations, and the like, you’ll be able to find what you need to create your daily look. Their newest line is called Juicy Pang. 

This line has a lip tint, mousse tint, jelly powder blusher, and water tint blusher in juicy, delicious looking colors. The blushers give off a very gentle blushed look. Their tints on the other hand, have amazing color payoff and a gentle sweet scent that isn’t too annoying to put up with.

They have a cruelty-free line called Pure Pine Bud. The products are not tested on animals and also use materials friendly to the environment. For example, everything from their packaging to their product is vegan-friendly.

If you want instagrammable face masks, they have the most adorable ones up for sale. Korean brands always make sure their details are on brand and A’pieu doesn’t disappoint. Their face masks are packaged in cute milk tetra pack and yogurt designed packaging. I couldn’t resist buying some for myself and took advantage of their 5 + 5 promo.
