THE VERDICT:

I'm starting to go back to swatching all the products I have received before the ECQ and that I have been receiving lately; just trying to inject a bit of normalcy into my everyday life, trying to be more productive, and also because I know that we're all makeup lovers and makeup makes us happy, right? :D

Here's Revlon's newest lip product for lovers of the K-Beauty- inspired subdued lip look and anyone who loves layering lip color: REVLON KISS CLOUD BLOTTED LIP COLOR.

I got all the shades so get ready for a swatch party!

Revlon Kiss Cloud Blotted Lip Color promises to deliver a diffused color in a soft suede finish; formula contains Milk Thistle lipolami extract, Coconut Oil, and Cotton Seed oil to soften and nourish the lips.

I have 19 colors on hand and I'll swatch everything for you!

Since the names of the shades are on the photo already, I'll just list down my quick description of the each shade below:

L-R:

1. Warm raspberry pink
2. Brown red
3. Warm orange with a hint of red
4. Cool mauve pink
5. Pastel orange
6. Bright cherry red
7. Bright orange with a red undertone
8. Warm peachy nude
9. Midtone warm pink
10. Cool salmon pink

L-R:

11. Pale nude peach
12. Midtone coral
13. Nude with pink undertone
14. Pale rosy nude
15. Pink coral
16. Deep berry pink
17. Warm rosy brown
18. Warm orange
19. Cool nude mauve

The product starts off a bit glossy and texture is whipped mousse, which gives the blotted effect; it's highly buildable so you can use it as a stain or a full on lip color. It's a bit hard to even out the color if I take just a small amount so I use a bit more quantity than my usual to get some decent color payoff; at first I thought that the product has poor pigmentation, but I realized, it's what makes the product blendable and easy to mix with each other. The fragrance it has is milky coconut; it's not too strong and I like that it smells delicious. One caveat is the formula tends to highlight dry lip patches, which is the case with mousse formula.

Spun Sugar

Here's a sample of wearing the product on its own. The darker shades are the best because they're much more pigmented and easier to even out; some of the lighter shades have a tendency to appear a bit patchy like Orange Meringue and Rosy Cotton Candy so I wouldn't really recommend those.

Spun Sugar + Berry Soft

Blending these lip colors is such a breeze! No need to temper coverage, use tissue or other blotting tools and techniques to achieve a soft, subdued ombre finish.

Mousse lip color isn't really the best in the staying power department so you have to retouch this during wear.

Onto the swatches!

From this batch, I highly recommend Spun Sugar because it's a very pretty MLBB, everyday shade; it compliments a variety of skin tones as well.

From this batch, I recommend Cherries on a Cloud because it's a pretty everyday red; not too dark not too bright.

From this batch, I recommend Chocolate Souffle because aside from being a gorgeous standalone shade that's great whether for day or night, it is also great to pair with any lip color if you want to achieve an ombre lip look.

From this batch I recommend Berry Soft; it's so gorgeous on morenas!

Lastly, from this batch, I recommend Blush much; it's cool, but the pink undertone makes it fairly suitable even for morena skin tone.
