A few months into the pandemic and beauty brands have quickly pivoted and created essentials that are apt for the new normal, and one of my favorites is the New Normal Skin Care Essentials by Fresh Formula.

Inspired by Nina Dizon, founder of Fresh Formula and Colourette's personal skin care problem, she and her team have developed a skin care collection that aims to address two primary skin concerns that a lot of people have this pandemic: 'round the clock cleanliness and maskne.

Fresh Formula New Normal Essentials is a skin care collection that includes The Daily Squeeze hand and body wash, Daily Dose low pH facial cleanser, Clear as Day low pH toner, and No Days Off hand sanitizer. The quartet comes in a semi- clear top handle bag so you can bring your new normal skin care essentials everywhere you go.

THE DAILY SQUEEZE HAND AND BODY WASH- removes grime and dirt effectively without over drying the skin; has glycerin that helps absorb and retain moisture. I love this one because of the fragrant floral-orange-melon fragrance; it smells really good! I also love that it leaves a hint of fragrance on my skin and doubles as a hand wash too. If you have odor on your hands or skin that you want to go away, this wash will do the trick!

DAILY DOSE LOW PH FACIAL CLEANSER- finally, a fragrance- free, low pH facial cleanser that's local and affordable! This product has helped me a lot in balancing my skin, thus allowing it to heal better from acne because it doesn't disrupt my skin's natural moisture barrier too much compared to a regular cleanser. This is being sold separately and if you've been meaning to try a low pH facial cleanser and experience the wonders it can do to your skin, try this!

CLEAR AS DAY LOW PH TONER- another great thing that came in this set is this toner; finally, an affordable low pH toner that has zinc, which is very good in combating acne. This was one of my beauty favorites last month because it is sting- free, gentle, fragrance- free, and helped my skin get rid of acne; I alternate it with my favorite Pixi Glow Tonic Toner; Clear As Day is my gentle, everyday toner and Glow Tonic is my exfoliating toner.

NO DAYS OFF HAND SANITIZER- a moisturizing sanitizer; it doesn't leave my hands dry and it smells freakin' good! It has a fruity floral fragrance that isn't cloying to the senses.

Overall, this is a great skin care collection because everything is so useful and relevant at this time. But if you want a recommendation on which individual products to try, in case you don't want to commit to buying the set, I suggest go for the toner and hand and body wash!
