THE VERDICT:
If there's one beauty product that I recommend you scrimp on, it would be blush. Why? Because there are lots of good and affordable versions out there. I think since blush is an accent product, we don't need a high performing, pro- level, expensive version all the time most especially for everyday; just a good quality, affordable blush will suffice On top of that, there are A LOT of really good affordable blush products out in the market too.
One of these brands is EB Advance and their new line, BLOOM BLUSH COLLECTION. Smooth, pigmented, lasting, good quality powder blushes for just P175! WHAT?!
EB Advance Bloom powder blush collection features four core shades that were universally developed and manufactured to suit customer's need from retail brands.
Ingredients
These are pocketable compacts; appreciate the tiny mirror embedded in the compact; It is very useful when I am grooming my brows and want to to be as precise as possible. Packaging feels pretty solid.
As mentioned, there are 4 shades available.
DAHLIA: orangey tan
PEONY: medium pink
ROSE: warm pink
FIG: mauve pink
Texture is matte; feels a bit dry, but smooth and easy to blend. Pigmentation is medium to heavy and product is fragrance- free. It only took me one swipe to achieve these pigmented swatches; how promising!
Here's me wearing Fig on my cheeks and Dahlia as contour. Dahlia actually doubles as a blush/contour, but since there's a hint of pink and peach in it, I advise that you go easy on layering and buff as properly as possible to prevent getting that orangey tone on your skin, most especially if you have fair skin.
Fig is a pretty shade! It's quite universal and I like how it accentuates my warm skin and gives me a chic, rosy flush. No wonder it's a crowd favorite! FYI, Fig is an old shade and just relaunched again as part of this collection.
Even if the texture of the blushes are a bit dry due to their matte finish and I got a bit of fallout during swatching, I'm surprised at how easy to blend and buildable these blushes are. It also has a soft matte, second skin finish that makes it look so natural on me. As for staying power, this one stayed put. I wore it for 13 hours straight with no retouching on the blush and right before taking off my makeup, I have noticed that at least 50% of the blush still remained on my skin. No breakouts too!
Overall, this is a good quality blush and unbelievably priced at P175 only. It's a great option from beauties on a budget to spenders because this blush, aside from having good quality, has a sophisticated finish as well. I highly recommend the shades Fig and Rose if you're getting these for yourself this Christmas!

I still remember FIG, it's my moms fave blush! Then EB released Baked Fig from Blush Duo. After that FIG in Blush Trio comes next, it comes with a highlighter.. The packaging of these recent launch blush looks so chic.
