2020 may be the year that skin care dominated, but there will always be the makeup lovers (and that includes me!)
Here are the makeup trends that you should watch out for this 2021!
1. EXPRESSIVE EYES
- Eye on the prize. This year will still require us to wear face masks until the latter part of the year (crossing fingers!) and eyes will reign supreme. Get your eyeshadow palettes, eyeliners, falsies, and mascaras ready, brush up on your eyeshadow blending skills, and go all out and be creative with your eyes starting this year.

2. WATERPROOF LIQUID LIPSTICK
- Liquid lipstick will make a comeback because between bullet and liquid, the latter is the longest- wearing lipstick between the two and will be a valuable asset in the age of face mask.
3. MAKEUP LOCKS
- Makeup Mask transfer is a concern among many women who continue to wear makeup, therefore there will be a growing demand for setting sprays and primers, and other makeup- locking products.

4. WATERPROOF MAKEUP
- Makeup locking is not enough; the actual makeup has to be long- lasting as well. Sometimes, makeup lockers are not enough to keep makeup intact because the chemistry of the skin and formula of makeup play a part as well so to ensure that makeup will last longer than expected and to lessen makeup transfer, waterproof makeup must be used and will be prioritized by many.

5. NOSTALGIC MAKEUP
- Makeup from the long gone era are making a come back, thanks to stars like Ariana Grande who's recently seen in a lot of vintage makeup looks lately such as the 90's sharp liners and brown lipstick, the early 2000's shimmery eyes and hot pink barbie look, and the 60's mod makeup look.

Oohh! This content is spot on Ms. Martha. I completely agree with those on the list.I think we'll see more variety of eyeshadow palettes and eyeliners this year as well as new trends in brow products.
