THE VERDICT

Nudestix is one of my fave, not-so-mainstream brands in Sephora; I think it's underrated and I wish more people would discover for themselves how good the products are, from the formula down to the shades.  Nudestix's Magnetic Cream Eyeshadow has converted me into a cream shadow user and that says a lot about their products considering how hard I am to sway! The products of Nudestix are great, from the formula down to the shades, and I hope I inspire everyone to go beyond Influencer- approved makeup products and celeb-brand collabs, and discover other brands because like me and Nudestix, you might find a potential favorite!

I recently got their Smokey Nude Glow Kit which features my favorite cream eyeshadows and some more Nudestix products that have instantly become staples in my Zoom makeup arsenal because they're so easy to use, glams me up in a snap, and are perfect for my skin tone!

Nudestix Smokey Nude Glow Kit is curated by Taylor Frankel, one of the founders of Nudestix; this features some of her favorite products and shades from the brand. I also love the funky makeup pouch the tin can kit came along with!

The tin can comes with a full- sized embedded mirror a handy cheat sheet, and six Nudestix products to help you achieve a smoky, glowing look.

I love how well thought out the collection is, from the packaging down to the products included. The tin can kit is genius because it's trendy while being lightweight and space- saving at the same time. The products chosen to be part of the kit as well are great: to me, their concept is it's everything you need to  liven up your cheeks, eyes, and lips, the parts of your face that you must strategically color if you want to look primped in an instant.

Gel Color Lip + Cheek Balm in Tay Tay is a sheer, light to medium balm with a moisturizing, dewy finish. Tay Tay is a nude pink beige shade with a semi- glossy finish.

Intense Matte Lip in Fringe is a lip and cheek crayon. It has a creamy matte consistency, intense pigmentation, and needs to be evened out right away upon application because it has a tendency to set and leave a slight streak on the skin. Fringe is a terracotta rose shade with a matte finish.

Magnetic Nude Glimmers in 24k is a gel highlighter with pale gold shimmer. It's very easy to spread, but has a tendency to look stark so apply gradually and with caution.

Magnetic Lip Plush Paint in St, Tropez is a kit- exclusive shade. It's a soft cream with a gel- like feel and yields medium to heavy pigmentation and a semi- matte finish. 

Here's me wearing Intense Matte Lip in Fringe on my lips and cheeks. Check out my cheeks; the finish looked a little streaky that's why it's important to blend it out right away upon application. Learned my lesson. :)

It's quite easy to blend on the cheeks and has good staying power as well. If you have very oily skin though, you have to set it with a mattifying loose powder.

I love Fringe because it compliments my skin tone well and I love how sophisticated the shade is; it's a great day to night shade.

Gel Color Lip + Cheek Balm in Tay Tay has a nice dewy finish, but I wouldn't use it on my cheeks though just because it's too dewy; it will just transfer on my face mask the moment I put it on. Tay Tay is also too pale for my skin tone to be worn alone so I think I will wear this on top of Intense Matte Lip Paint in Fringe for some dimension.

Magnetic Lip Plush Paint in St. Tropez is a midtone rose pink shade. It's great for medium skin tone and I love the smooth, slightly cushiony feel; it's not long- lasting though and transfers onto face mask so I only wear this during Zoom meetings at home.

Here's me wearing Magnetic Nude Glimmers in 24K on my brow bone and cheek. I just dabbed the highlighter lightly on those areas and the result is a pretty, golden glow that gave my morena skin a boost! It has decent staying power, but if you want it to last longer, set lightly with a translucent powder.

This has been my go- to Zoom makeup kit lately because the products are multi- tasking, easy to use, blend well with each other, and it only takes me 5 minutes to make me Zoom meeting- ready in an instant with these! They're perfect for travel too!
