THE VERDICT:

Is there anyone here who uses three kinds of facial wash on a regular basis or every now and then? I do! Call me a facial wash addict, will ya, but now that I know my skin better, I have realized that at certain times of the day and the week, I can use two or three different kinds of facial wash to address my needs and to maintain my skin.

For the past few months now, my go- to facial wash brand is The Body Shop; I found the three facial wash products that well- suited my skin's needs at the moment and I love how gentle yet effective these are. I'll share with you why I love them and how I use them on a daily/weekly basis.

VITAMIN E GENTLE FACIAL WASH (daily use, every morning)- Vitamin E Gentle Facial Wash is from one of The Body Shop's iconic skin care lines. This facial wash made for dry skin is a gentle, non- foaming cream cleanser that lifts dirt, impurities, and mild makeup from the skin, It has Vitamin E and Wheatgerm oil that soothes and keeps skin moisturized and protected as you cleanse.

This is a light cream that lathers nicely on the skin; it has the signature fragrance of the Vitamin E range and I love using this as a morning cleanser to get rid of excess oil without stripping my skin of its natural moisture and wrecking my skin's equilibrium. I find that washing my face with a high foam facial cleanser first thing in the morning shocks my skin, thus it tends to misbehave the entire day my being dry, scaly, and itchy; using a non- foaming, moisturizing cleanser for dry skin did the trick for me!

HIMALAYAN CHARCOAL PURIFYING CLAY WASH (daily use, every night)- This facial wash contains fair trade Himalayan Charcoal extract and Tea Tree Oil extract from Kenya. Maskne has been a persistent problem of mine and I find that this facial wash helped clear my skin naturally and gently. It has charcoal bits which yields a gentle exfoliating action and the generous Tea Tree oil extract helps combat acne- causing bacteria. I massage this heavily on my chin area where I get the most breakouts lately and it made a difference: zits heal faster and may jaw line just looks and feels smoother.

VITAMIN C CLEANSING POLISH (twice a week usage)- I exfoliate twice a week and I'm using this polish. This Vitamin C- infused polish has tiny beads that gently exfoliate and reveal new skin. I like that it has Vitamin C extract that helps lighten post- acne marks further; plus points that it has an energizing citrus scent too which makes it such a treat to use!

Do you use more than one facial wash too? Have you tried any of these? Share your thoughts in the comments!

  2. My husband and 13 year old son shares my bathroom essentials. We are currently using the neutrogena deep clean foaming cleanser, In Her Element Low PH Rose Gel Cleanser, and the Neutrogena Deep Clean Black Head Eliminating daily scrub. I dont know, but its a must haves in the bathroom. Thought we are weird :-).
Im having zits on my jawline lately, so will try that Himalayan Charcoal Purifying Clay Wash. Thank you for your honest review. It saved me time looking for other options. Thank you Ms Martha!
