THE VERDICT:

Queen Mother Rihanna has dropped a new summer offering called Eaze Drop Skin Blurring Tint under her famous Millennial makeup line, Fenty Beauty. Eaze Drop is summer skin in a bottle: glistening memories of sun- kissed cheeks, sun- drenched complexion, freedom, and adventure come to mind every time you pour out the golden liquid from the bottle. I remember just two summers ago, I was stocking up on sheer skin tints for summer and beach trips; it's been a while and this product has just reminded me why I always look forward to summer so much and why I still look forward to one summer day when we can all finally bask freely in the sun again.

Ah, all this reminiscing is making my heart break LOL. Going back to the product, Eaze Drop has been the talk of the town ever since it came out because it's such an easy, carefree product that perfects skin effortlessly and naturally. Are these claims true? Let's find out!

Ingredients

Eaze Drop Blurring Skin Tint Foundation is a lightweight, sheer foundation that gives smooth, blurred, flawless skin in a swipe. It has QuickBlur complex that smooths, hydrates, and gives a diffused effect to the skin. HydraBlend complex claims to make it humidity, sweat, and transfer- resistant. It is available in 25 shades.

Rihanna envisioned this product to be no- fuss and quick to use so it comes in a compact, plastic squeeze bottle so you can bring it anywhere and use it anytime.

I have two shades on hand: 11, a medium warm beige with neutral undertone and 12, a tan shade with yellow undertone. 12 is close to NC42 and I could use this shade around summer time; it's a bit dark for my pale skin tone at the moment so I'm using 11 right now.

As I mentioned, this is meant to be an easy to use product so aside from the travel- friendly packaging, the formula is also very spreadable; it's a semi- runny tint that can be applied neatly, evenly, and easily even with just your fingers. I love finger application sometimes because it's so convenient and I'm glad that this product is perfectly suited for that!

Bare skin

With one layer of Fenty Eaze Drop

I have good skin lately so I normally don't have to use beyond one layer of foundation or tinted moisturizer. Eaze Drop has an unscented formula and spreads like a dream. The base of this foundation is hydrating enough that it looks extra good and spreads extra well on well- moisturized skin. However, I still don't think that you can skip moisturizer when using this one; it's still best to use a moisturizer to keep skin healthy and moisturized.

So a lot have been saying that Eaze Drop's shining talent is its ability to give you flawless skin with skin- like coverage and I find that to be true: formula is sheer and feels just like moisturizer, but don't be fooled, this thing is pigmented! It kinda' reminds me of Nars All Day Luminous Weightless Foundation, but this is a more affordable counterpart. It doesn't crease as well because of the moisturizing base.

Eaze Drop helps minimize the appearance of dark spots, redness, and discolorations, while still letting the natural texture of skin shine through. The skin- blurring effect is there, but it's much more visible from afar (check my photos above!).

Eaze Drop feels very light on the skin-it's foundation, but feels just like a tinted moisturizer, but with the evening properties of foundation. It doesn't feel greasy on the skin too. It has good staying power, but oil control is just okay and it transfers onto face masks so I prefer using it at home during zoom meetings and events; I also wish that it comes with SPF too. But if ever there's a need to wear foundation under a mask, I'd go for this one because it's very light on the skin and gives me the coverage I need.

Fenty Eaze Drop is a great, summer foundation that's very flexible and easy to use: it's one of the best foundations that you can wear under a mask because it's lightweight, it's a quick skin fix before online meetings because you can just squirt some on your palm and apply on problem areas and no need to set with powder, and a good skin smoother if you have textured skin. I recommend that you have one as a face mask partner or if you're simply looking for a light foundation.
