THE VERDICT:

Imagine yourself sitting on a sun bed, facing the beach with a lemon cooler in your hand; as the glass touches your nose, the juicy fragrance of lemon trails your nostrils and gives you a burst of fresh feeling. As you gulp down the ice cold lemon concoction, your eyes trace the horizon and you see the waves slowly coming towards the shore. The sun is warm, the wind kisses your cheeks, and the rays hit your face and bathe you in a golden glow. Life is good, life is sweet. And we all live for moments like this.

Well, we don't know what that feels like right now because we are not allowed to travel yet LOL.

But thank goodness for fragrance, we get to re-live moments like this at home. And thanks to The Body Shop for always coming up with amazing bath and body products that send you into a fragrant nostalgia.

I came up with that beach scene after taking a whiff of The Body Shop's new Lemon Purifying Hair and Body Wash and Purifying Face Wash; this new bath duo has just conjured up the setting that I want to be in right now; it smells sooo good and encapsulates a refreshing summer experience in one fantastic scent.

Hair and Body Wash ingredients

Lemon Purifying Hair and Body Wash cleanses impurities and has antibacterial properties. The bottle is made from 100% recycled plastic bottle from India and has a Vegan formula.

Purifying Face Wash ingredients

Lemon Purifying Face Wash washes away impurities, bacteria, and keeps skin clean and fresh. It also has hydrating properties due to Community Fair Trade organic Aloe Vera extract. Formula is Vegan.

Both products have the same juicy, refreshing lemon peel fragrance. The fragrance is so close to the real thing and you feel that they did not skimp on the ingredients.

Lemon Hair and Body Wash lathers well, but it does not leave my skin dry nor taut; I also love using this as a clarifying shampoo because of the clear, moisturizer- free formula and doesn't feel drying on the scalp too.

Lemon Face Wash has an energizing scent; I love using this as a midday wash; I wash my face frequently recently because of this grueling heat and this wash has been one of my go- to refreshing cleansers. It leaves my face a bit taut because of the clarifying formula so I make sure to moisturizer right after usage. I love how it gets rid of oil and dirt from my skin.
