THE VERDICT:

When it comes to waterproof stuff, Make Up For Ever is my go- to because they're tried and tested, and if Cirque Du Soleil uses your makeup for their performances, well, dahling, then that means the stuff is genuinely waterproof haha! I've watched a Cirque Du Soleil performance years ago and the performers, aside from they sweat a lot, are exposed to various elements that can erode makeup fast such as heat and water; and for them to use Make Up For Ever in their shows is a testament to the brand's strong waterproof capability.

Make Up For Ever has recently released their new Aqua Resist Brow Collection; it's my current favorite because the products are very easy to use, plus they really last the whole day even if I don't set my brows!

Make Up For Ever Aqua Resist Brow Collection features an angled brow pencil (Aqua Resist Brow Filler), micro brow pencil (Aqua Resist Brow Definer), and brow gel (Aqua Resist Brow Fixer) for brows that are perfectly shaped, defined, and sculpted and lasts the whole day.

How do we use these products?

Brow Definer- for creating hair- like strokes, ideal for those with really sparse brows

Brow Filler- for filling in brows with medium thickness and patchy areas.

Brow Fixer- for grooming and setting really thick brows, plus the tint helps add some definition

Brow Definer- this one is much more pigmented than Brow Filler, which is perhaps due to its shape. Pigmentation is medium to heavy

Brow Filler- this one has light to heavy pigmentation; the angled tip helps give a softer, more diffused payoff.

Brow Fixer- has the heaviest pigmentation among the three. It has a gel consistency.

Wearing Brow Definer + Brow Fixer. The definer is smooth and applies evenly; no need to warm up the pencil to get it going. The fixer is very light and I like that it doesn't flatten my hair strands and generally just clings on my brows; it also tints the brows for a little to give it some definition. The fixer also yields medium hold that lasts for hours.

Me wearing Brow Definer. This one is great for those moments when you only have 5 minutes to do your makeup: easy to use and covers my brows and gives me definition in just a few swipes.

No questions when it comes to its staying power. It lasted on my sweaty, oily face.
