THE VERDICT:

I ran out of powder foundation last week so I went to the mall to pick up one. I've been using up powder foundation faster than the usual because it's my go- to face base nowadays; gosh, I don't think I've ever worn liquid foundation for more than 20 times in the last 2 years!

I also thought it was the perfect time to try something new so I decided to go for Maybelline Super Stay Full Coverage Powder Foundation since I liked its liquid version. 

I think I found a new, go- to powder foundation for less than P500!

Maybelline Super Stay Full Coverage Powder Foundation is made from high pigment formula that promises superior coverage that lasts for up to 16 hours. Dermatologist- tested, allergy- tested, non- comedogenic, and suitable for sensitive skin. Locally, it comes in 5 shades.

It's a pretty decent powder foundation in a no non- sense packaging; I like that it comes with own sponge compartment for hygiene purposes.

Here's my bare face. I've been breaking out recently because of hormones. Ack!

And here's me wearing a layer of the powder foundation. I don't have to put on too much since this thing is pretty pigmented and my marks and bumps aren't that bad so I also did not feel the need to pile on the coverage. 

The powder has a semi- creamy texture and semi- matte finish; I like that despite its full, long- lasting coverage, it doesn't look flat matte and doesn't feel dry and powdery on the skin. 

I've worn this yesterday for 7 long hours and not once did I retouch, though there was makeup transfer on my face mask; I assessed that maybe, it was just the excess powder pigments that did not set properly on my skin because 7 hours after, my face still had a decent amount of powder on and the makeup transfer on the mask did not significantly increase.

Overall, I like this powder! It does the job, gives me good coverage, stays intact for hours, doesn't feel dry and powdery on the skin, and I found a shade that suits my skin tone, which is Golden Caramel, a medium deep shade. I highly recommend this product if you have oily skin and you are looking for an affordable powder foundation that can withstand face mask wear.
