THE VERDICT:
Thanks to Tiktok, I’m back to using cream blushes. Technically, I’m still a powder blush girl to the core and I still think that there’s really nothing special about cream blushes unless you have dry skin (by then, they’re a godsend), but I’m kinda’ enjoying cream blushes because of the process- like usage it entails and how it reminds me that makeup, indeed, is a process.
And one cream blush that I’m enjoying now is Nudestix Nudies Bloom! This versatile stick gives you color, from sheer to popping in just one handy tube.
Nudestix Nudies Bloom All Over Color is a dewy color stick for the lids, lips, and cheeks. It comes with a flat synthetic kabuki brush on one end for finger- free blending, great for those who don’t like touching the face with their bare hands. It comes in 7 shades.
The shade I have is Bohemian Rose. Bohemian Rose is a midtone rose with neutral undertone. Pigmentation is medium to heavy and I like that it’s very moisturizing, buildable but not heavy, and imparts more actual color than dew, which is the problem sometimes with dewy color sticks.
Here’s Bohemian Rose on my cheeks and lips. It flatters my skin tone and I like that it just looks like a natural flush on the skin. It’s also pretty long- lasting if set properly with powder and piece of advice, don’t pile it on too much because it may have a hard time setting onto your skin, which will cause it to fade or transfer faster.
What I love about this product is the fact that it comes in a stick: hygienic (depending on how you use it) and convenient; most of all, it’s packed with color and just the right amount of dew: I get the color coverage I need without necessarily looking oily.
Overall, good buy and a great travel makeup buddy! I used this in Singapore a lot because it’s very handy and quick to use. I recommend this shade to morenas, to girls who have dry skin, and those who want a fuss- free, convenient makeup item.
Have you tried. This product already? What are your thoughts?
