THE VERDICT:

Ready Set Glow is one of the most promising local beauty brands in my opinion because they make really good products! I've tried all their products ever since they started in 2020 and so far, I like everything! 

They have recently released Badass Face and Body Mist and I'm ecstatic about it because a setting mist is one of my makeup staples, especially nowadays when mask usage is a must and makeup just erodes faster because of it. This setting spray is skin care on the go plus it helps makeup adhere better to the skin, thus helping improve its longevity.

Ready Set Glow Badass Face and Body Mist is a setting spray and face and body mist with Niacinamide and hydrating ingredients to keep skin hydrated and provides brightening benefits. It also has SPF 20 for sun protection. This mist promises to set makeup, help makeup last longer, and nourish the skin while on the go. 

Product comes in a plastic bottle that's pretty much travel- friendly. The atomizer delivers a fine, wide mist which I really like!

Here's the product on my skin; that's just one spritz and as you can see, it covers a wide area right away. I also like that the formula feels 'moisturizing', but doesn't feel sticky nor oily on the skin. It also has a nice cucumber melon- like scent. It dries up quickly too and doesn't leave any residue on the skin.

Let's test the product.

The one at the bottom is plain eyeshadow and the one on top is the same eyeshadow set with the face and body mist. As you can see, the one that hasn't been sprayed on with the mist looks powdery and looks as if it's not clinging properly onto my skin. 

Left finger was swiped on the eyeshadow that's set with the mist and the one on the left was swiped on the plain eyeshadow. As you can see, the misted swatch didn't transfer top much to my finger compared to the plain swatch. Ready Set Glow Badass Face and Body Mist has helped improve the adherence of the eyeshadow, which helped improve its staying power. But if you want makeup to last longer than it should, then you should use a fixing mist.

Aside from being a good setting mist, I like it functions as skin care on the go too. I spray it anytime on my face and on my body most especially after walking outdoors because it helps rehydrate my skin.

Overall, this is a pretty good setting mist and it helps makeup look more vibrant the whole day; it doesn't guarantee complete prevention of makeup transfer on face masks, but rather minimizes it. Best for normal to dry skin types, and as a booster for fixing sprays for those with oily skin types.
