THE VERDICT:
Bianca Valerio, Professional model/Host/Chief Makeup Artist for Colour Collection has come up with a line called Confidence Boost, a collection of four gorgeous lipstick shades personally handpicked by Bianca herself. As an advocate of self- empowerment, Bianca called the line as such because she believes that lipstick helps women become more radiant, more beautiful, and more confident.
I've always had fairly good experiences with Colour Collection's makeups, so my expectations with this product is quite high. And I'm happy to report that for the nth time, it has delivered!
Tickled Pink is bright pink lipstick with a blue undertone. Think Barbie Pink. It has a moisturizing finish, moderate pigmentation, and a faint floral scent. I like how it's not too pigmented because if it were, it would wash me out.
Here's Tickled Pink on my lips. It feels very lightweight, transfers color easily onto lips, and does not dry out lips. It also needs to be reapplied during wear.
Right: Confidence Boost Lipstick in Tickled Pink
In comparison with the shade Paradise Pink, I find that both are bright and blue- based, but Tickled Pink is more fluorescent than the former. Paradise Pink has a warmer appeal to it and can be worn during daytime or night time, while Tickled Pink is more of a daytime shade for me. (But you always have the option to wear it during night-time too)
As far as I know, this collection is still out of stock. FYI, Tupperware has produced around 2 million lipstick pieces for this line prior to its market release and guess what? The line got sold out after it was launched to the public. I wasn't so surprised because I know that people will love it: its quality is very good, not to mention it's very affordable too.
