Slip into Something Fab: Guerlain La Petite Robe Noire EDT

Guerlain launches La Petite Robe Noire EDT, the luxury house’s fragrance interpretation of the modern little black dress. Incidentally, La Petite Robe Noire literally translates to “The Little Black Dress”.

“I dress women in GUERLAIN”
“I am a fragrance which dresses you in a very chic and Parisian way.”

Thoughts: I like how Guerlain communicates La Petite Robe Noire as a ‘fragrance that speaks.’ It gives me an impression that I do not portray the traits of this perfume but rather I AM the fragrance—the embodiment of the essential Guerlain woman.

Anyway!

When it comes to choosing your staple little black dress, you choose not only the style that fits, but also something that makes you feel genuinely beautiful and exclaim “This dress is so me!” Just like your favorite LBD, La Petite Robe Noire is an essential fragrance that you can identify yourself with—a fragrance that dresses you exquisitely and makes you feel ultra feminine, confident, and beautiful- Guerlain style.

In relation to the above paragraph, the LBD comes in different shapes, sizes, and styles to fit the diverse taste and personalities of all women, and so is La Petite Robe Noire. Over the last four years, Guerlain had made three different versions of this fragrance: In 2009 and 2011, they have released La Petite Robe Noire EDP while in 2011, La Petite Robe Noire EDT was born. If you’ve noticed, the representation of the LBD on the three bottles differ from each other as well as their colors—this means whether you prefer it classic, elegant, or modern, there is a perfect La Petite Robe Noire for you.

La Petite Robe Noire is like the contemporary little black dress as pictured on the bottle: Playful, chic, yet with a touch of youthful elegance and flirtatiousness. It is a happy, crisp, sparkling fragrance with a soft and warm drydown. It is for the lady who likes gracing the town with her charming allure and enthusiasm in her cute little black dress, of course.

La Petite Robe Noire is made from Guerlinade, Guerlain's top- secret blend of perfume accords. The Guerlinade defines the maison's rich tradition of perfumery: It is a very old blend, and is a highly celebrated one at that. Up until today, Guerlain remains true to the original composition of Guerlinade, and uses it in all of their fragrances.

La Petite Robe Noire Meteorites--NOT! I actually thought they were, until I tried rubbing the mini balls and realized that they're candies! You got me there, Guerlain!

Guerlain was even so nice to give me a wine glass, which I have used to enjoy the overflowing Pink Strawberry Wine at the event.

Bonding day with Kumiko Mae of Loving Sunshine. I had a great time talking with her about our love for Guerlain, especially the makeup!

With Barbs Aguirre, Brand Manager for Guerlain, and people from LuxAsia and Summit Media.

I have always admired Guerlain's fragrances, and French perfumes in general so a complimentary bottle of La Petite Robe Noire is truly a great surprise for me!

There is something about the way of the French, that even if they create something mainstream, they still manage to give it an elegant touch. La Petitre Robe Noire is no different. I will talk about this fragrance in a detailed review soon!

La Petite Robe Noire is available in 30ml (P3,098.00), 50ml (P4,298), and 100ml (P6,098.00). It also comes with a complementing 200ml Shower Gel and Body Lotion.
