THE VERDICT:

Dang, I don't even remember the last time I used let alone saw a makeup product from Natasha, so I can't recall how they look like and perform, really. These new lip duos from Natasha look pretty and decent in my opinion.

NATASHA LIP DUOS IN DETAIL

Natasha brings us a complementing duo of lipstick and lip gloss shades in a slim and portable packaging. It comes in 6 sets.

Here's the doe foot lip gloss applicator. Shape is medium and fits any lip shape perfectly. The lipgloss has a nice light vanilla fragrance. It doesn't feel sticky-in fact, it feels watery. Staying power is poor as it evaporates, bleeds and fades even if you're not doing anything with your lips. Coverage is light to medium and payoff is a lil' streaky.

While the lipstick is a cutesy bullet- shaped product. The base doesn't feel sturdy though so don't twist it up so much. It's more of a tinted lip balm to me more than anything else as I find it too sheer to be called a lipstick. Just like the lip gloss, coverage is light to medium, has a light vanilla fragrance, finish is semi- glossy, payoff is quite uneven and staying power is poor.

NATASHA LIP DUOS IN ACTION

COSMOS- PINK DUO

Cosmos Lipstick- a warm coral shade

Pink Lip Gloss- a neutral mlbb pink shade

Cosmos and Coral together

Cosmos and Pink give off a nice, non-intimidating wash of color to your skin. Looks best on medium and morena skin tone.

CORAL-BEIGE DUO

Coral Lipstick- a very pale coral, borderline nude peach. It's not really coral to me, but rather a pale kind of peach.

Beige Lip Gloss- a milky beige shade

Coral and Beige together

Coral and Beige work better if worn together, and provide a nude look to lips without washing off yellow- toned complexions. I have also observed a lip plumping effect with this duo.

PINK-PINK DUO

Pink Lipstick- a bright candy pink shade

Pink Lipgloss- a cool candy pink lip gloss

Pink and Pink together

This duo is my most favorite among the three because it has the most decent coverage and pigmentation. It also looks like a very affordable dupe of Nars Schiap, but fares a little warmer.

Given the quality, finish, and price, I think it is a great starter line for teens who are still learning the art of makeup. The lip duos have a very fresh and dewy finish and are inexpensive too. It's not for me though because I like my lipsticks bold and pigmented. (Even lip glosses)

  4. Love the swatches! I think they clearly show the quality of the product.

That said, I've never appreciated a streaky product. The only things I really like were the Cosmos and Coral lipsticks. I think the glosses were too uneven.
