Ever Bilena is slaying with these new Colorblock Matte Lippies! Nowadays, all brands are just releasing glosses and tints so seeing a new collection of matte lippies is just so refreshing!
You know me, I'm always a matte girl at heart so when I learned about Ever Bilena's new creamy, long- lasting matte lippies called Colorblock Matte Lippie, I just had to try it!
Ever Bilena Colorblock Matte Lippie is a long- lasting, ultra pigmented matte lippie with power pigment technology for a transfer- proof finish, and moisturizing and nourishing ingredients namely Vitamin E and Hyaluronic Acid. The collection features 12 shades.
The lippie comes in a twist up, crayon barrel packaging. It's sleek, handy, and convenient.
Ingredients
The shades are mostly on the medium to dark spectrum, but the undertones are pretty neutral so these will suit a lot of skin tones.
Consistency is smooth and creamy. Finish is opaque and I like how it glides on my lips. Since it's packed with moisturizing ingredients and the fact that it's matte, it does weigh a little when it's on the lips, but it's tolerable for me.
Here's a close up of the lippie. Finish is more of soft matte and boy it does set on the lips! Around 3 minutes after application, you will start to feel that the lipstick setting into a matte, unmovable finish! It does highlight some lines and patches too so make sure that your lips are exfoliated before application.

Staying power is really good! I've worn it once to a dinner and even after a heavy meal, there was still around 60% of the product left on my lips!
You might be wondering since these are long- lasting, IS IT DRYING? As someone who has to deal with severely dry and reactive lips, I can confirm that nope, it doesn't! These are really comfortable and even if does highlight some patches of dryness, it does not exacerbate the condition at all making it a comfortable matte lipstick choice for girls with dry lips like me.
Overall, the quality of this product is great. It's so nice to find a long- lasting, comfortable matte lippie at this price point! I highly recommend Editorial and Intimate; Editorial is such a lovely shade of red and it's so classy!
