Going French: Cuillere

Finally, I had the chance to eat in this Restaurant. Been wanting to eat here for a long time.

PRICE RANGE: 200- 700php

This diner that somewhat resembles a vintage locomotive train is a go- to place for most couples, according to a source.

There may be a ton of great restaurants in Serendra, but Cuillere's warm interior makes it perfect for that private moment with your special someone.

It's also perfect for meetings. The quietness and tightness of the place makes it convenient for you and your client/s.

On the house: Warm bread with Garlic Butter spread.

Cream of Mushroom soup with Truffle Oil. One of my most favorite soup dishes.

Ratatouile of Vegetables served with the Baked Dory Fish. Yummy!

Baked Dory that tastes very bland. But it's really healthy. The serving's good for two persons, but I can gobble it up all by myself! I wish they season it more!

Tomato Pesto Pasta. Love the tomatoes, but not the Pesto.

Grilled Ham Sandwich with Extra Gruyere cheese and Potato Fries. If you want extra Gruyere on your sandwich, just ask the waiters. They'll add it for free!

A cup of 98% fat- free and sugar- free French Vanilla Ice Cream from Lulubelle to end my meal. There's no excuse to skip healthy eating because we have a lot of options! :)

There aren't a lot of French restaurants in the metro. If there are, they're pretty hidden. Thank goodness for La Cuillere. La Cuillere's pretty expensive, (La Regalade another favorite French Restaurant of mine along Pasay Road is more expensive, but their food tastes better) but it's still worth the try. There are a lot of affordable stuff in the menu for a pocket- friendly French dining experience!

I love French Food. But I may not go back since I wasn't impressed with their Baked Fish.
